時カートリッジ内面側に付勢され、本体装置に装填時に
本体装置側から前記第2の孔を通して押し込まれたピン
等によって光ディスクに接触させるブラシを内蔵したも
のである。

該孔5に臨ませて光ディスク2とカートリッジ1の内側
との隙間に光ディスク2の面を払拭するブラシ7を取付
けたブラシ支持部材6を内蔵し、該支持部材6を板バネ
8等を介してカートリッジ1の内面に固定したものであ
る。第2図に示すように、通常はブラシ支持部材6はバ
ネ圧を受けてカートリッジ1の内側に押し付けられ、光
ディスク2にブラシ7が接触しないように保持されてい
る。ところが本体装置に光デイスクカートリッジ1を装
填すると、第3図に示すように装置側に設けた駆動ピン
10が第2の孔5より嵌入してブラシ支持部材6を押し
下げ、ブラシ7が光ディスク2に圧接され、その回転に
よって表面に付着した塵埃を払拭除去する。

ブラシを光ディスクに接触させて光ディスクに付着した
塵埃を有効に除去できる。また接触させる時間は数秒で
十分であり、光ディスクの表面にブラシによる摩耗痕が
生ずることもほとんどない。

光ディスクに接触させるブラシを内蔵したことを特徴と
する光ディスクカートリッジ。
