その横巾をカツターローラの横巾に関係なく増大
させることができるので、掻込み性能を向上させ
るため掻込みローラの横巾を広げてもカツターロ
ーラの横巾は所定以下に制限することが可能であ
り、一方、カツターローラの横巾が狭くなる程、
回転刃の長さが短かくなつて、回転刃を装着した
カツターホイル径が小さく制限できるので結局、
切断機本体の形状を小型化できる利点をも有する
