Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a double protective film to protect a precious metal sheet from mechanical or chemical wearing, by a method wherein a composite plate obtained by bringing a sheet of a precious metal or an alloy thereof into close contact with a transparent protective film and marking the resultant laminate by stamping is superposed on a transparent decorative plate provided partly with opaque pictorial characters, and covering the superposed members with a transparent protective film. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 1 of a precious metal or an alloy thereof is covered on both sides thereof with a first protective film 2 comprising a transparent resin to obtain a composite plate 3. The composite plate 3 is marked 4 by stamping. Next, a transparent decorative plate 5 formed from a resin (e.g., acrylic resin), a glass or other similar material is superposed on the composite plate 3, and they are covered by a second protective film 7 comprising a transparent resin. Picture writing 6 or the like can be provided on one or both sides of the decorative plate 5.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] This invention is directed to the use of gold, silver, platinum, etc., which can be easily used as souvenirs and gifts, and which also have decorative value. Regarding thin-walled precious metal composite plates with pictographs mainly made of precious metals.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, small gold ingots have been given patterns on their surfaces by being engraved using a mold, similar to those seen on coins and medals.

Incidentally, in recent years, as gold has become more popular, the unit in which gold is handled has become smaller and it has come to be bought and sold in tg units. However, when such small amounts of gold are press-molded into coins or medals with a certain thickness, their shapes are very small and unattractive, making them less effective as souvenirs or gifts. There was a problem.

Therefore, one idea would be to roll the gold ingot into a very thin plate, and then mark the surface of the plate by stamping or other means, and add patterns or letters depending on the purpose. In this case, for example, if tg gold is rolled out to a thickness of 20 μm or less, it will be about the size of a business card, and will have a sufficiently attractive appearance, making it suitable for souvenirs and the like because the patterns and letters are easy to distinguish. Then, by applying a protective film such as a transparent resin to this, deformation and adhesion of dirt can be prevented, and durability can also be ensured.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in the above-mentioned conventional technology, since the stamp is applied to a very thin plate using a mold, the marking area becomes thin and the mark can be seen through the back side. Since the unevenness also appeared on the back side, marking could only be done on one side. Therefore, although coins and medals can have different pictographs on both sides, they do not look good and have little commercial value.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a composite plate in which a transparent protective film is adhered to a thin plate made of a precious metal or an alloy of precious metals, and markings are made by stamping. , and a transparent decorative plate with partially opaque pictographs are placed one on top of the other, and both are covered with a transparent protective film.

[Function] In such a thin precious metal composite plate with pictographs, a transparent protective film is attached to the precious metal thin plate and then the marking is done by engraving on it, so even if it is a thin plate, it will not fall off partially due to punching. , the occurrence of wrinkles due to stamping is prevented.

By overlaying a composite board with such markings on a transparent decorative board with partially opaque pictographs, the pictographs on the decorative board can be seen to reflect the color of the precious metal. The pictographs marked on the thin precious metal plate can be seen when viewed from the background, and the pictographs marked on the thin precious metal plate can be seen on both sides of the plate, resulting in a thin precious metal composite plate having pictographs with different tones and contrasts on both sides of the plate.

In Figure 1, 1 indicates a thin gold plate, which is made by rolling a block material with a purity of 99.99% or more to a thickness of 1.
After finishing it to 5 μm and cutting it into business card-sized pieces, both sides were laminated and covered with a first protective film 2 made of transparent resin to obtain a composite plate 3. Markings 4 such as letters, symbols, and patterns as shown in FIG. 1 were applied to this using a stamp. in this case,
At the location where the engraving was made, both the thin gold plate 1 and the first protective film 2 become thinner, resulting in the appearance of the marking 4. However, compared to gold, the resin film is less susceptible to plastic deformation, and the thinner gold plate 1 becomes thinner. Since the degree of oxidation is small, it is less likely that holes will form in the marking area. Therefore, the part of the marking that is isolated from the surroundings does not fall off, and marking by engraving can be stably performed. By using an appropriate punch or the like, it is possible to stamp any figure, pattern, character, portrait, certification mark, etc. on a thin plate simply, quickly, and inexpensively. There are no particular restrictions on the content of the display on the precious metal thin plate l, but it is appropriate to include the material, quality, weight, etc. of the precious metal plate itself as part of the display, and these should be determined based on the individual purpose of the product. The mark can be added in advance separately from the mark given to the mark.

FIG. 2 shows a decorative plate 5 made of a material such as resin such as acrylic or glass, and has a pictogram 6 made of an opaque portion on one or both surfaces thereof. This material does not necessarily have to be highly rigid, and may be a flexible material such as vinyl, and its thickness is set appropriately. Further, for the above-mentioned portion, appropriate methods such as coating with paint, relief engraving, etching, or a combination of these methods may be used. Further, the opaque portion may be a portion of the pictogram 6 or a portion of the background of the pictogram. The content of the pictograms 6 displayed on the decorative board 5 is not particularly limited, but it goes without saying that a variety of pictographs may be adopted depending on the individual needs of the product.

These composite board 3 and decorative board 5 are overlapped so that markings 4 and pictograms 6 appear on their outer surfaces, and both are further laminated and covered with a transparent resin film (second protective film) 7. A thin precious metal composite plate with pictographs as shown in Figure 3 is manufactured.

The engraved surface of the noble metal thin plate 1 is not limited to that shown in FIG. 3, and its material may be silver, brazina, etc., or an alloy thereof, in addition to pure metal.

This thin noble metal composite plate consists of a noble metal thin plate I and a first protective film 2.
The relatively fragile composite board 3 made of is reinforced by the decorative board 5 made of Agrill resin, etc., so that the composite board 3 is not damaged or bent during transportation or manual movement. This prevents the product from losing its value. Furthermore, since the noble metal thin plate 1 is laminated and covered with the first protective film 2 and does not come into direct contact with the decorative plate 5, the noble metal thin plate 1 will not be damaged or wrinkled due to friction or the like.

Further, since the composite board 3 and the decorative board 5 are laminated and covered with the second protective film 7, there is no relative movement between the two, so there is no damage or wrinkles, and the adhesion of dirt is also prevented.

[Effects of the Invention] As detailed above, the present invention provides a composite plate in which a transparent protective film is adhered to a thin plate made of a precious metal or an alloy of precious metals and markings are made by engraving, and a partially opaque pictograph. The transparent decorative plates are layered together and both are coated with a transparent protective film, so even if expensive precious metals are rolled thin and made into a relatively inexpensive thin plate, there will be no damage on either side. An attractive decorative item can be provided by placing pictographs on one side by stamping, and on the other by placing pictograms on the opaque part of the decorative plate. Moreover, the double protective film protects the precious metal thin plate from mechanical and chemical wear and tear, and the decorative plate also protects from wear and tear due to bending, etc., resulting in superior effects such as extending the service life of the product. It is something that plays.
