Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent electricity leak, generated by a metal, and secure electrical safeness, by a method wherein the retainer of a defrosting tube heater is provided with an engaging unit, fitting it to the refrigerant tube of a cooler utilizing the elasticity thereof, and a retaining unit for the defrosting tube heater, both of which are formed of a resin. CONSTITUTION:The retainer 19 of a heater is provided with an engaging unit 19a to fit it to a refrigerant tube 14c utilizing the elasticity of a resin while two pieces of the engaging units 19a are provided in parallel, therefore, stabilized support may be contrived and sound of vibration, caused by a play, will never be generated. The retainer 19 of the heater is made of a resin, therefore, the retainer does not conduct electricity and there may be no possibility to leak the electricity to a cooler 14 even when a defrosting heater 18 is wetted by water produced by defrosting. An abutting plate 19c is formed on the heater retainer 19 so as to be abutted against side plates 14a and fins 14b, therefore, stabilized mounting may be contrived. Further, the defrosting tube heater 18 is supported by a cylindrical retainer 19b, therefore, the defrosting heater 19 may be prevented from being cracked by a stress applied thereon or coming off the main body.

That is, 1 is a cooler, 2 is a heater cover made of a thin aluminum plate, and this heater cover 2 is attached to a locking piece 3.
It is caulked and fixed to a notch hole 16 provided in the side plate 1a of the cooler 1 as shown in the figure. Reference numeral 4 denotes a defrosting pipe heater, and both ends thereof are attached with mounting legs 6 formed on the heater cover 2. With this configuration, the frost adhering to the cooler 1 during the cooling operation is melted by the radiant heat of the defrosting tube heater 4, and defrosting is performed.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the above configuration, since the thin aluminum tank heater cover 2 is fixed to the side plate 1a of the cooler 1 by caulking,
This work was difficult, and moreover, the work was likely to be uncertain, causing rattling in the crimped portion and causing metal noises due to slight vibrations during cooling operation. In addition, in the mounting legs 6 to which the defrosting pipe heater 4 is attached, the mounting part 6 is made of metal and the defrosting pipe heater 4 is a glass tube, so if the holding strength of the defrosting pipe heater 4 is increased, the defrosting pipe heater 4 There was a risk of problems such as cracking or easily coming off if loosened. Furthermore, there was a risk that the heater holder 2 would corrode and the locking piece 3 would come off due to long-term use. Furthermore, if defrosting water permeates through the cord of the defrosting pipe heater 4 while the defrosting pipe heater 4 is energized, since the heater cover 2 is made of aluminum, electricity will flow from the cooler 1 to the cooling system. There was also a safety concern as electrical current leaked to the outside through the connecting pipe (not shown).

As described above, according to this embodiment, since the engaging portion 19a is provided on the heater holder 19 and is fitted to the refrigerant pipe 14a using the elasticity of the resin, the installation work is easy, and the engaging portion Since two pieces 19a are formed in parallel, stable support can be achieved and no vibration noise is generated due to rattling. In addition, even if the defrosting water permeates through the defrosting tube heater 18, the heater holder 19 is made of resin, so it does not conduct electricity and there is no risk of leakage to the cooler 14, and the contact plate 19a holds the heater. Since it is formed on the tool 19 and comes into contact with the side plate 14a and the fin 14b, more stable mounting can be achieved. Furthermore, since the defrosting pipe heater 18 is held by a cylindrical holding part 19b, there is no risk of the defrosting pipe heater 18 being cracked due to stress or coming off as in the conventional case. It also prevents

Furthermore, according to the present embodiment, the phenomenon that water vapor enters the inside of the defrosting pipe heater 18 and water droplets remain in the molded part 18c of the defrosting pipe heater 18 can be avoided through the water drain hole 18e formed in the molded part 18c. It has a structure that allows it to be discharged. Also, since the contact plate 19c of the heater holder 19 covers the lower end surface of the side plate 14a, the cord 18d is connected to the side plate 14a.
This also prevents the cord 18d from being damaged by hitting the end face of the cord 4a.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention has a defrosting tube heater holder formed of resin with an engaging portion that fits into the refrigerant tube of the cooler using elasticity and a holding portion that holds the defrosting tube heater. Since it is made of metal, it prevents electrical leakage caused by metal and ensures electrical safety, and the engaging part of the heater holder provides stable support to the cooler, prevents vibration noise, and facilitates workability. Moreover, by forming the holding portion, problems such as cracking and detachment of the defrosting pipe heater can be prevented. Furthermore, it is possible to provide a defrosting device for a cooler that eliminates the problem of metal corrosion and can withstand use for many years.
