【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は複写機等の給紙装置に関し、給紙カセ
ツト中の記録紙を給紙ユニツトに向つてはね上げ
る給紙装置に関する。

周知のように、給紙カセツト中に収容した記録
紙を給紙ユニツトに向かつてはね上げて用いる給
紙装置においては、第1図示のような給紙カセツ
トを用いる。即ち、第1図中、符号1は上方を開
放したカセツト本体であり、同カセツト本体1の
底部には上面に多数枚の記録紙Aを堆積状態にお
かれるはね上げ可能な底板2が位置され、同底板
2の両側部には記録紙Aの送出方向を規制する一
対の案内板3A,3Bが位置される。したがつ
て、同給紙カセツトは第2図の矢印X方向から複
写機4等の給紙台5上に挿着され、給紙台5の内
部のはね上部材6により記録紙Aが底板2ごと給
紙ユニツト7に向つてはね上げられて用いられ
る。しかしながら、給紙カセツトの深さの割合に
記録紙Aの堆積枚数が少ない場合には問題はない
が、図示のように多くの枚数の記録紙Aが給紙カ
セツト中に収容されると、そのはね上げ時に、上
部の記録紙Aのほぼ全体が案内板3A,3B上に
浮上つた状態となる。このため、上部記録紙Aは
案内板3A,3Bによる規制を全く受けなくなる
ため、複写機4に加わる振動や、給紙ユニツト7
の傾き、わずかの衝撃によつて水平面内で片向
き、これが原因して片向き給紙が起り、記録画像
の片向きや“ジヤム”が発生している。このよう
な事態を防止するため、従来では、給紙カセツト
の上方に位置した固定板8をできるだけ給紙カセ
ツトに近づけて、ある程度以上の浮上りを阻止す
る工夫が行なわれているが、給紙カセツトの上縁
と固定板8の下面との間にある程度のすき間Hが
ないと、給紙カセツトの挿脱操作を軽快に行い得
ないので、固定板8による記録紙の浮上り防止効
果にほとんど期待がもてないのが現状である。

て、前記給紙台の上方に設けた軸で基端部を枢支
されかつばねにより下方に付勢された状態で給紙
台の奥に向つて延長した押え部材と、前記給紙カ
セツトが前記給紙台に装着されているとき前記各
案内板の上端に接触できるように前記押え部材の
先端部の案内板対応位置に設けられた一対の突条
とを備える複写機等の給紙装置にある。
