Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate operation setting for stroboscopic flashing or its release and to simultaneously take photographs with stroboscopic flashing by continuous ly carrying out stroboscopic and normal AE photographing actions in one photographing operation. CONSTITUTION:The camera incorporates, as control sequence, a continuous photographing means which continuously carries out the stroboscopic photographing action and the normal AE photographing action thereafter. The stroboscopic photographing action is such that, when a sequence control circuit 12, which controls the whole operation of the camera, obtains from a photometry circuit 3 either the back light of a main object or a photometric output below the level of the specified stroboscopic photographing brightness which is previous ly set, photographing is performed while a stroboscopic device 9 is flashed by means of a stroboscope driving circuit 8. The normal AE photographing action is such that; without stroboscopic flashing, photographing is performed by setting an appropriate diaphragm and appropriate shutter speed by means of an automatic exposure control circuit 1. Thus, both photographs with strobo scopic flashing and without it are taken at the same time, thereby eliminating the operation setting for a stroboscopic flashing mode or its release.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, cameras are known that measure the brightness of a subject and automatically control strobe light emission. The strobe @shadow operation is performed automatically, and without the need for a strobe light selection operation, it is possible to take appropriate photographs without failure even with dark subjects.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in such conventional cameras, strobe light emission control is performed automatically, so when you want the strobe to fire due to backlight etc., the strobe may not fire or the strobe may not fire when the strobe is backlit. Even when you do not want to take a photo with the strobe lit, the strobe may fire and a photo may be taken that is contrary to the photographer's intention.

In such a case, after performing a switching operation to a mode in which the strobe is emitted or a mode in which the strobe is not emitted, it is necessary to repeat the enemy's shadow again, and there is a problem in which a photo opportunity is missed during this time.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve this object, the present invention includes an automatic exposure control means, a photometering means for metering the subject brightness, a film winding means for winding the film by a motor drive, and the above-mentioned. In a camera having a strobe means that is automatically driven to emit light based on the photometric output of the means, there is a strobe shadow operation caused by the light emission drive of the strobe means and a normal AE.
A continuous photographing means is provided for continuously performing ratiometric shadowing operations in an appropriate order by one i-shading operation.

[Function] In the camera of the present invention having such a configuration, normal AEili shadowing is automatically performed at the same time as strobe photography, so photos with strobe light emission and photos without strobe light emission can be taken at the same time. Since there is no need to set or release the strobe light mode, there is no need to miss a photo opportunity, and it is possible to choose between the two photos obtained as a result of the enemy shadow according to the photographer's preferences and intentions. You can select the appropriate photos.

Furthermore, in the present invention, when the photometry circuit 3 provides the sequence control circuit 12 with a photometry output that is less than or equal to the backlight of the main subject or a predetermined strobe photography brightness level, the strobe drive circuit 8 controls the strobe. Following the strobe photography operation in which the device 9 emits light to take a picture, normal AE performs photography without flashing the flash and setting the appropriate aperture and shutter speed by the automatic exposure control circuit 1! ! Continuous shooting means for continuously performing shadow operations is incorporated as a control sequence.

As shown in step S1 in FIG. 2, the sequence control circuit 12 first determines whether or not the normal photography mode is set by the photography mode setting switch 14. At this time, if the flash photography mode is set by the photography mode setting switch 14, it is determined in step S2 whether a photometry output due to the backlight of the main subject is being obtained from the photometry circuit 3, and then in step S3, the photometry circuit 3 Check whether a photometric output less than the strobe photography brightness is obtained from the output.

When a subject is backlit that requires strobe firing or a photometry output that is less than the strobe shooting brightness is obtained using the operation sequence shown in Figure 2, the strobe i shadow operation is followed by normal flash operation without strobe firing. Since the continuous shooting operation in which the AE shooting operation is performed at the same time is performed in one shooting operation, if the photographer wants to take a photo with the strobe firing, or conversely, take a photo without the strobe firing. However, you can freely obtain one of the two photos obtained as a result of the photoshoot, and use the strobe light without missing a photo opportunity. It is possible to take photos with and without strobe light at the same time.

The operation flow shown in Fig. 3 is for manually setting the continuous shooting operation, but as another embodiment of the present invention, even in the normal shooting mode, the brightness of the subject is backlit or is set in a predetermined manner. below a predetermined brightness, or even within a predetermined range, e.g.
When V=6 to 11, a continuous shooting operation using a flash photography operation and a normal AE ratio shadowing operation may be performed automatically. In this case, the continuous shooting operation is determined in step S1 in FIG. 3 as to whether it is backlit, the brightness is less than a predetermined brightness, or the brightness is within a predetermined brightness range, and the process proceeds to step S2.

In addition, in the continuous shooting operation shown in the operation flow of Figures 2 and 3, when the strobe shooting operation is finished, the normal AE @ shadow operation is performed immediately after the film is wound. Strobe shooting operation and subsequent AEL
! A predetermined time interval may be set between shadow operations. In this way, strobe shooting operation and AE
If a predetermined time interval is set between the Ilffl shadow operation and the subsequent AEifft shadow operation, for example, after the strobe shooting operation is performed when continuous shooting is performed using the self-timer, There is a predetermined time interval in between, so change the pose during that time and do AEl! You can make shadows act. The continuous shooting display when performing continuous shooting at a predetermined interval during self-timer shooting uses the self-timer display provided on the camera to display the AE performance that is performed after a predetermined time interval after flash photography. By informing the user, it is desirable to be able to change the pose by looking at the continuous shooting display status during the time interval of the AE attack.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, according to the present invention, the strobe enemy shadow operation and the normal AE @ shadow operation are performed consecutively in one shooting operation, so it is possible to make the photograph with the strobe light look like a dancer. Whether you want to take a photo that does not use a strobe or, conversely, want to take a photo that does not use a flash, you can select the photo that best suits your preferences and intentions from among the two consecutive photos that were obtained as a result. Furthermore, in the same photo opportunity, you can obtain two photos with different results by firing the strobe and using normal AE photography, especially in cases where it is difficult to know whether or not to fire the strobe based on the subject situation. However, the user can select an appropriate photo from the two continuous shots obtained as a result of dark shadows.
