Abstract

PURPOSE:To print out hard copies readily in a short time in spite of monochrome or multicolor and to make a system compact by recording information on an image from a liquid crystal panel directly onto a photosensitive recording medium. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device 1 includes the liquid crystal panel 2, a light source 3, an image/data processing circuit 4, and a control circuit 5 which converts a signal from the image/data processing circuit into a signal so as to drive the liquid crystal panel 2, etc. An image recording device 7 is formed of the photosensitive recording machine 8, a press roller 9, and a non- contact heater 10, etc. A sheet which is uniformly painted with oxidizer and a microcapsule including a coloring agent is used as the photosensitive recording medium 8. When the microcapsule is irradiated with beams, only the part solidifies and a shell of a remaining part which is not irradiated with beams is collapsed by a pressuring unit, and the said remaining part reacts with oxidizer, and colors by heating. Thus, hard copies of high image quality can be outputted in a short time.
