The inventors of the present invention have previously developed a wire-type sensor having a thin conducting wire as a sensor to be introduced into muscles or blood vessels using this insertion needle. In such a sensor, an electrode is provided at the tip of a thin metal wire, and this metal wire is coated with insulation, but since the Young's modulus is small, it is difficult to insert the wire alone into the body.

This can be achieved using a biological wire-type sensor insertion needle with the following characteristics.

る。 In the detection part of a wire type sensor, a predetermined area at the tip of the conductor is exposed from the insulation coating.
This exposed portion is usually covered with a porous thin film. When the detection part is inserted into a living body, the amount of electricity generated by the electrode reaction based on the amount of biological components that diffuse through this thin film and reach the electrode surface is measured, and the concentration of the biological components is determined. can be quantified.

The amount of resin deposited is determined by the inner diameter of the needle tube and the size of the sensor, but it is preferable that it covers 1/2 to 1/3 of the blade surface at the rear end portion of the blade tip and has a thickness of 500 μm or less.

When inserting the sensor into a muscle, the conductor 4 is bent along the resin layer 3 of the insertion needle and attached so that it comes out of the needle. When inserting the sensor into a blood vessel, do not bend it like this.
It is inserted so that it stays inside the blade tip, but at this time, even if it comes into contact with the rear end of the blade tip, the resin layer 3
Therefore, the thin film of the detection section 5 or the insulating coating in the vicinity thereof will not be damaged and the amount of biological components reaching the electrode surface will not be changed.
