PURPOSE: To safely execute an unmanned operation of a network system by monitoring a power source turn-on continuation time by a timer monitoring part and turning off automatically a power source, when a prescribed power source turn-on time has elapsed.
CONSTITUTION: When it is detected that a power source is being supplied continuously to a terminal equipment, exceeding the time which is stored in a time storage memory 11, a timer monitoring part 6 outputs a turn-off command of the power source to a power source supplying part 7. The power source supplying part 7 stops supply of the power source to the terminal equipment 10. Also, this time monitoring part 6 always monitors a power source supplying state in addition to a monitoring start instruction from a signal monitoring part 5, and even when a power source turn-off state is varied to a feeding state, said part starts monitoring a power source supply continuation time in the same way, and prevents a power source supply of many hours cased by a malfunction of the terminal equipment 10. In such a way, an automatic power source turn-on/turn-off device which can be used in an unmanned operation system, as well can be obtained at low cost.
