結果は下記の通りである。
The present invention has excellent lubricity and is effective in preventing wear between the ball holder of the chip and the ball, and
To provide a water-based ink for a ballpoint pen with a smooth writing taste. Conventional water-based inks for ballpoint pens contain aqueous polyhydric alcohols such as glycol solvents and glycol ether ester solvents in an aqueous solution of water-soluble dyes, but such water-based inks have poor lubricity, so the ball does not tumble when writing. Due to rotation, the ball and holder are likely to be worn out, and the gap between the ball and ball holder becomes large, causing phenomena such as the ball shaking or irregular ball rotation. There were drawbacks such as poor writing quality and uneven ink flow. In order to eliminate such drawbacks, the present invention is characterized in that funnel oil is blended into an aqueous solution of a water-soluble dye to obtain a water-based ink with excellent lubricity, long-term stability, and bleeding prevention. The water-based ink of the present invention has water as its main component, and contains water-soluble solvents such as glycol solvents such as ethylene glycol and butylene glycol, cellosolve solvents such as ethyl cellosolve and methyl cellosolve, and glycol ether ester solvents such as ethylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate. Contains 5 to 40% by weight of one or more polyhydric alcohols, in addition to water-soluble dyes such as acid dyes, direct dyes, and basic dyes, preservatives, and nonionic or anionic surfactants. If necessary, a water-soluble resin is contained, and funnel oil is added to this solution. This dramatically improves lubricity, which could not be achieved with conventional water-based inks, making it possible to write even when the tip is made of metal such as brass, phosphor bronze, or stainless steel, as well as when it is made of synthetic resin. The wear of the ball seat of the tip, which the ball comes into contact with, is reduced, and as a result, the wear of the tip is extremely small, and excellent brush feel and smooth writing can be maintained until the ink is consumed. It is assumed that this effect is achieved because funnel oil forms a layer between the ball and the ball holder, lowering the coefficient of wear between the chip and the ball and increasing the lubrication effect. The amount of funnel oil to be added is based on the ink composition.
Optimally within the range of 0.02 to 5.0% by weight, 0.02
If it is less than 5% by weight, the desired lubricity cannot be obtained in the ink composition, and if it exceeds 5% by weight, bleeding can be observed when writing. Furthermore, when the ballpoint pen tip is made of metal, it is extremely important to add a rust preventive agent to the ink composition in order to prevent corrosion of the tip and improve the stability of the ink composition over time. This rust preventive agent is selected and used appropriately depending on the material of the chip, but when using the most common copper alloys such as brass and phosphor bronze for the chip, 0.05 to 0.5% by weight of benzene is added as a rust preventive agent. The effect is particularly excellent when triazole is added. Examples of the present invention will be described below. Example 1 Water 83.8% by weight Ethylene glycol 10.0 Score Roll #900 0.1 Phenol 0.1 Funnel oil (CY-263) [manufactured by Lion Co., Ltd.] 1.0 Edible Red No. 102 (C.l No. 16255) [manufactured by Daiwa Kasei Co., Ltd.] ]
5.0 The above formulation was stirred at 40-60°C for 1 hour, then cooled and filtered to obtain an ink. The ink of the comparative example in which funnel oil (CY-263) was removed from this formulation and the ink of the example of the present invention were tested using a mechanical writing tester.
The results of comparing the sinking of the ball and the writing feel after writing for 500m are as follows.
