However, no matter how small the halftone dots are, there is a limit to how small the halftone dots can be, and it has been impossible to blur the image completely without halftone dots. Moreover, when halftone dots are not used, it is necessary to overlap the colors.

The present invention uses a screen printing method to print woodgrain patterns and other patterns as well as blur printing at the same time, and although it is printed in one color, it is possible to print a pattern with unique shading and blurring without any halftone dots. It is something.

The principle of the method of the present invention is as shown in FIG. Alternatively, a flexible printing sheet 2 such as a synthetic resin film is placed, and ink is applied from above using a squeegee 4 using a silk screen 3 while applying a constant pressure.

At this time, according to the principle of silk screen printing, when the ink pushed out from the screen 3 at a constant pressure hits the recessed part of the plate 1, the sheet 2 is pressed against the recessed part by the pressure of the ink. As the amount of ink deposited increases, the ink concentration becomes higher. Further, since the amount of ink attached to the convex portions is small, the density becomes lighter, and the ink becomes as if a copy of the unevenness on the surface of the plate 1 is taken, and a pattern conforming to the shape of the unevenness is formed. The outline of the pattern due to this unevenness becomes a gradation-like blurred state, and although it is printed in one color, a pattern with a special gradation can be obtained.

The printed surface printed by the method of the present invention has no halftone dots or squares unlike conventional gravure printing, and is capable of aesthetic expression that can withstand many times magnification.
