Underground propulsion installation methods are being adopted. This is a pipe propulsion method in which a shaft is excavated on the surface of the earth, and from within the shaft, the lead pipe and push pipe are pushed and buried while excavating the ground using a drilling device such as an auger screw installed inside the inner casing. It is a construction method.

The drilling head is first excavated and then the drilling head is housed in the leading pipe, and the drilling head is pushed through the hole to perform management construction. For this reason, the diameter of the hole excavated by the drilling head is smaller than the diameter of the leading pipe, and if the ground is made of hard ground, a leading pipe with a larger diameter is pushed into the hole drilled by the drilling head. It was difficult. There is also the problem that gravel hits the tip of the leading pipe, which tends to interfere with excavation by the excavation head.
