Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a metallic decorative sheet having a three-dimensional decorative surface with desired luster by etching the patterned opening in a resin film stuck to the surface of a metal substrate and by subjecting the resulting recess to sand shotting. CONSTITUTION:A viscoelastic resin film 2 having a patterned opening 5a is formed on the surface of a metal substrate 1. The opening 5a is etched and the resulting recess is subjected to sand shotting with roundish particles 7a to form a smooth finished surface. The resin film 2 is then removed from the substrate 1.

In the figure, 1!1 is a metal substrate such as a stainless steel plate, and (2) is a photosensitive emulsion coated on the surface of the metal substrate 111. The non-photosensitive areas are removed with a non-exposed area remover and the photosensitive areas remain. A resist film made of a resist agent for etching processing, (3) is a film attached to L of the resist film (2), (Sa) is a transparent part formed in the shape of 'IA a, and (4) is a film attached to L of the resist film (2). The film (31) is an ultraviolet lamp that irradiates the resist film 121 from t, (5) is the transparent part (3
Corresponding to a), the photosensitive area of the resist film (2) is formed by irradiation with an ultraviolet lamp (4), and (6) is an etching consisting of a recess formed on the surface of the metal substrate +11 by etching process, which will be described in detail later. It is a processed surface. That is, in the conventional metal decorative board, a resist film (2) is formed on the surface of a metal substrate shown in FIG. 10 as shown in FIG. 11, and a film (3) is formed on the surface of the metal substrate ( 2)
It is pasted on the. Then, as shown in FIG. 13, the resist film (2) is irradiated with ultraviolet rays from the film (1 of 31), and a photosensitive area 151 is formed corresponding to the transparent area (5a).Then, as shown in FIG. A chemical for removing non-exposed parts of the resist film is sprayed on the resist film (2), and only the non-exposed parts of the resist film (2) are removed to form openings (5a).Then, as shown in FIG. Etching is performed using a corrosive solution such as a solution to form an etched surface (6) corresponding to the opening (5a), and then the photosensitive area (5) of the resist film (2) is removed as shown in FIG. The metal decorative board shown in is manufactured.

In conventional metal decorative boards such as those described above, the etched surface (6) is rough and matte, making it easy for dirt to adhere to it and making it difficult to clean. Since the appearance of the etched surface cannot be changed, resulting in a monotonous decorative board, there was a problem in solving this problem and realizing a manufacturing method for producing a variety of decorative boards.

As shown in FIG. 8, the metal substrate 1 is subjected to sand shot processing to form a sand shot surface (8) which sinks from the surface of the metal substrate 1 shown in FIG. 9 and has a smooth, metallic luster. Next, the resin coating (2;
8) is finished so smoothly that it has at least a semi-gloss, so it is resistant to stains and is easy to clean, making it possible to maintain its beautiful appearance with less effort. Furthermore, since the resin coating (2) during etching is used as a masking during sand shot processing, the processing steps can be simplified and manufacturing can be done at low cost. By changing the particle size of the sandshot particles, various sandshot finishing surfaces (8) can be obtained and decorative surfaces can be diversified. Furthermore, by subjecting the metal substrate to a treatment for forming a colored oxide film before and after sand shot processing, it is possible to produce a variety of decorative boards with even greater variation.
