Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent image with high operability by providing a copying machine possessing a function which can adjust the quantity of lamp light and a developing bias independently with a writable storage means storing the combination of an optimum quantity of lamp light and the developing bias and setting the combination according to operator's instructions. CONSTITUTION:An original reading part 1 is provided with a light quantity controller 3 adjusting a voltage impressed on a light source 2 composed of a halogen lamp. An original 5 travelling on a platen glass 4 is lit, the light reflected by the original 5 is led to the exposing part 9 of a photosensitive drum 8 through a mirror 6 and a lens system 7, and an electrostatic latent image is formed on a photosensitive body. Then, a controlled voltage from a debias control circuit 11 is impressed on the developing roll 12 of a developing part 10, and a transfer part 13 forms an image on a photosensitive sheet. In this constitution, an optimum combination of the circuit 3 and the circuit 11 for a special original is set previously, and is stored in the storage means 16.
