Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit a stably uniform application of sterilizer to the inner surface of a container, by moving a spray nozzle up and down above the opening of the container to spray sterilizer into the container from above. CONSTITUTION:The spraying of sterilizer is commenced from a position (a) at distance S from the opening portion of a container 2 and a nozzle 1 is raised to a position (b) at distance E from the opening portion thereof, while spraying the sterilizer and, in this position (b), the spraying is completed and, after the termination thereof, the nozzle is lowered back to the position (a). After completion of one cycle of this spraying operation, the container 1 is transferred to the next process. As a sterilizer, for example, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, etc., may be used. After spraying, the container is dried with aseptic heated air, etc. With the nozzle 1 stopping while spraying for 0.2-0.4 seconds in position at distance S from the container opening at the start of spraying, a more stably uniform application of the sprayed sterilizer to the bottom of the container can be effected.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION <Industrial Application Field> The present invention relates to a method for sterilizing containers, such as a liquid paper container, in which a sterilizing agent is uniformly applied to the inner surface of the container.

In particular, for liquid containers containing alcohol, juice, etc., such as Gehertsop paper containers, the container is formed from a single blank sheet, and after forming the bottom, a series of steps are carried out to fill the contents from the upper opening and seal the opening. It is common for the process to be performed automatically.

This series of steps often includes a step of sterilizing the inside of the container in order to preserve the contents.

Various methods are used in this sterilization process. After forming the bottom, there are two methods.
Method of soaking in a disinfectant bath etc., method of spraying disinfectant, method of ■■~■ before forming the bottom (e.g. sleeve-shaped B)
Examples of how to do this can be given.

The above method (■) has the disadvantage that its sterilizing effect is limited, and it is known that the use of electron beams and gamma rays is particularly effective, but the handling is troublesome. There are problems such as the cost of the equipment being high, and the method (2), which has an excellent sterilization effect, requires the process from forming the bottom to filling and sealing to be carried out in a sterile zone. This method is often adopted.

However, in this method, it is possible to uniformly coat the inner surface of the container depending on the spray nozzle, spray pressure, etc., but the distance between the spray nozzle and the inner surface of the container is too close, resulting in a state of over-wetting in some parts, which is difficult to apply in the subsequent process. (drying).

Means for Solving Problems> The present invention is characterized in that the spray nozzle is moved up and down above the opening of the container to spray the disinfectant from the top of the opening. and further characterized in that the spray nozzle starts spraying at the open end of the container, sprays with an upward pressure, and after spraying 49 liters, descends and returns to the open end of the container to complete one cycle. It is.

First, (a) distance S from the opening of container (2) as shown in the figure.
Spraying 11 of the disinfectant is started from the position shown in (B), while spraying as shown in the figure, the nozzle (1) rises to a position at a distance E from the opening, and the spraying is finished at this position, and (C) the spraying is performed as shown in the figure. While spraying is stopped, descend to the position shown in (a). When this one cycle is completed, the container (1) is sent to the next process.

Further, in the above embodiment, the distances s and E are set depending on the shape of the container, but the nozzle is a fine spray type two-fluid nozzle with a spray angle of 150'' (for example, 1/dJAU type "11" manufactured by Spraying System Co., Ltd.). In this case, in a cylindrical container of 70 mm square and 900 m1, S = O ~ 50 mm,
A favorable condition was to set E to 150 to 200 mm.
