Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent offensive smell, by a method wherein a sensor is provided in a drainage unit to drain water, produced by defrosting, and drip of garbage by a pump, operated in conjunction with the sensor, into a sewerage when the water, produced by defrosting, and drips of garbage have been accumulated more than a given amount. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 16, being put ON when water has invaded into a drain tube 14, is inserted into the drain tube 14 while the sensor 16 is connected electrically to a pump 15. When garbage 5 is received, drips of the garbage, which did not enter through the opening of a garbage receiving vessel 6, adhere to the inner wall of the case 4 and they also adhere to the frost on an inner case 7. Water, produced by defrosting, is mixed with drips of the garbage 5 and is guided to the lower part of the inner case 7, then, enters into a drain 11. 却運転時には着霜しており、霜取り時には霜取り水が内
箱7の下部にあるドレン11を通じて蒸発皿12に導び
きホットプレート13の熱により蒸発する様にしていた
