In view of this, this proposal provides a portable folding chair that is compact and easy to carry as it becomes a short tubular shape when folded, and is comfortable and strong when unfolded, with the base of three or more arms pivoting. The upper elevating member, which is supported movably up and down by horizontal ear shafts at the same position from the center, is fitted into the sliding tube so that it can be raised and lowered with the free end of the arm facing upward, and the sliding tube is inserted into the short tubular columnar body. A lower elevating member is housed in the upper part of the column so as to be slidable up and down, and in the lower part of the short tubular column body, the bases of at least three legs are supported at equal positions from the axis by horizontal ear shafts so as to be expandable. The leg piece is stored with the free end facing downward so that it can be raised and lowered, and a foldable seat is hooked and attached to the arm.

The upper elevating member 3 supporting the arm 1 has a lower limit position within the column 5 where the lower end surface 3a abuts against a shaft-shaped stopper 11 mounted transversely on the column 5, and an upper limit position within the sliding tube 4. Protruding pin-shaped stopper 1
As shown in the enlarged vertical cross-sectional view in FIG. 3 and in the enlarged plan view in FIG. and a bolt-like stopper 14 with a head 14A that supports the proximal end of the arm 1 when it is laid down.

On the other hand, the column body 5 is provided with a vertical long hole-shaped guide hole 15, and a guide pin 16 with a head 16A inserted into the guide hole 15 is screwed onto the sliding tube 4 to allow sliding. The moving pipe 4 is non-rotating.

Since the lower lifting member 8 supports three leg pieces 7 in this embodiment, radial slits 19 are provided at three equal angle division positions, and the base of the leg piece 7 is inserted into each slit, respectively. While the leg pieces 7 are supported by the ear shafts 6 so as to be expandable, the lower limit position is a position where the lower surface 8a abuts a pin-shaped stopper 20 screwed onto the column body 5.

At the lower end of the column 5, slits 21 are carved in correspondence with the leg pieces 7, into which the three leg pieces 7 extending outward from the lower elevating member 8 that has reached the lower limit position can be inserted. It has been set up.

Further, a bolt-shaped stopper 22 with a head 22A that determines the unfolding angle of the leg piece 7 is screwed into the center of the lower elevating member 8, and the unfolding angle of the leg piece 7 can be adjusted by adjusting the threading depth of the stopper 22. However, it is also determined by the depth of the slit 21.

Since the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, the sliding tube 4 is pulled out from the state shown in FIG. 2 to the upper limit as shown in FIG. Pull out.

Next, as shown in FIG. 6, while returning the sliding tube 4 to the lower limit position, all the arms 1 are laid down outward and fitted into the slits 9 and 10, while all the leg pieces 7 are pushed outward. The assembly is completed by unfolding it, fitting it into the slit 21, and blowing air into the sheet 17 through the stopper 18.

When unfolded in this way, the leg pieces 7 touch the ground, the arms 1 support the human body, and the wires 23 make the arms 1, 1... into an inverted umbrella shape when fully opened, the seat 17 becomes a cushion, and the wires 23 further provide a cushion. Good quality.

Furthermore, since the sliding tube 4 is made to be able to move up and down within the column 5, and the upper elevating member 3 is allowed to be moved up and down within the sliding tube 4, excessive force is not applied when the arm 1 is inverted or raised. This makes assembly and folding operations extremely smooth, and the column 5

As is clear from the above explanation, the proposed folding chair is extremely easy to unfold and fold, and when folded, the arms and leg pieces are completely stored inside the column without protruding from the column. It's extremely compact because it's shaped just like your body, and it doesn't get in the way when you put it in your bag or carry it in your hand. It has many advantages, including experiments that have shown that it is superior to chairs.
