Claims

A ball joint in which the ball part of a ball stud is press-fitted into a cylindrical socket with a small diameter at one end with a seat bearing interposed, and the other end of the socket is closed by a disc-shaped end cover. The inner periphery of the other end of the socket is formed into a stepped large-diameter hole, and a disc-shaped end cover that fits into the large-diameter hole is provided, and the end cover faces the stepped portion of the large-diameter hole. By providing an annular sharp part on one side of the outer periphery of the socket, caulking the outer periphery of the other end of the socket, and pressing the end cover toward one end of the socket, the outer periphery of the end cover and the step of the large diameter hole can be connected. A ball joint characterized in that the end cover is pressed against the bearing seat via the sharp portion, and the inner peripheral portion of the end cover is pressed against the bearing seat.
