羽根車を配設し、羽根車ケーシングの下方に連結
された吸込筒に吸気通路を連結し、且つこの吸気
通路に気水切替用吸気弁を装備している立軸ポン
プであつて、 前記吸込筒に連結した吸気通路が、当該立軸ポ
ンプの設置床より下方において本体ケーシング内
に導入されるとともにこの本体ケーシング内を通
つて設置床上に導かれており、且つこの設置床上
の本体ケーシング外において前記吸気弁を介装さ
