Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure simply accurately the intestinal pressure by assuming that a differential pressure value between the internal pressure in an intestinal balloon when expanded by poured air in the intestine and that when medicines, air, etc., are poured in the intestine or excreted therefrom is pressure applied to the inner wall of intestine. CONSTITUTION:An intestinal balloon 2 is inserted from the anus into the intestine 8 to be expanded to specified pressure Po by pressing a syringe 13 while monitoring a pressure sensor 11 and the pressure is fixed. A barium pressurizing section 15 of an enema syringe 14 is operated to pour the barium 16 into the intestine 8. The pres sure sensor 11 detects the internal pressure increased in the intestinal balloon 2 through an air pouring path 4 for the intestinal balloon. When the barium 16 is excreted from the intestine 8, an air pump 17 for expelling air in the enema syringe 14 is driven to give negative pressure to an enclosed container 18 so that the barium in the intestine is taken in the enclosed container 18 and the pressure sensor 11 detects the negative pressure in the intestinal balloon 2. An internal pressure change DELTAP=P-Po is calcu lated in a decrement circuit 23, and DELTAPL<DELTAP<DELTAPH is compared by a comparing circuit 24 on the basis of the max. value DELTAPH and min. value -DELTAPL of change amount in the intestinal pressure set by a setting circuit 25.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention is based on the internal pressure PO of the intestinal balloon of a rectal catheter when the intestinal balloon is inflated, and the control of the internal pressure PO of the intestinal balloon of the rectal catheter, and the control of the internal pressure PO of the intestinal balloon of the rectal catheter, and the control of the internal pressure PO of the intestinal balloon of the rectal catheter, and the control of the internal pressure PO of the intestinal balloon of the rectal catheter. Internal pressure P of the intestinal balloon at the time of injecting or expelling drugs, air, etc. from the large intestine
The present invention relates to a method of measuring the pressure exerted on the inner wall of the large intestine by injecting or excreting a drug or air by measuring the pressure and calculating the differential pressure between the two.

These devices use equipment for infusion and excretion, but this is always done under pressure or negative pressure, which can be dangerous if large pressure or negative pressure acts on the large intestine. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly monitor the intestinal pressure when injecting or excreting drugs, air, etc. into the large intestine.

Conventionally, the pressure inside the large intestine during injection and excretion of drugs and air was not measured using a measuring device, but based on complaints from patients,
Physicians and others had estimated the intestinal pressure empirically through visual observation by nurses and others who were nearby, and by monitoring the motor during intestinal X-ray transmission.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) With this conventional method, accurate intestinal pressure cannot be determined, and there is a risk of damaging the large intestine due to excessive pressure or large negative pressure. . Additionally, due to inadequate intestinal pressure, nurses and others may approach the patient during X-ray transmission to make adjustments such as injecting and excreting the patient, resulting in nurses and others being exposed to X-rays. There was a problem.

In addition, rectal catheters require independent injection paths for the intestinal balloon, air injection path for the intestinal balloon, injection of drugs into the intestines, injection of air, etc., and are used by being inserted into the rectum from the anus. In order to do this, it must be formed as compactly as possible. The tip of the conventional rectal catheter has problems such as there is no room to incorporate a pressure measurement sensor, etc., and it is difficult to manufacture.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention has been made to solve the problems of the conventional art. To provide a method for measuring colonic pressure in which a catheter can be used as is and the intestinal pressure can be simply and accurately measured when drugs, air, etc. are injected into the intestine or excreted from the intestine.

The gist of this method is to use a rectal catheter with an intestinal balloon whose tip is inserted into the rectum from the anus and injected with F through the air injection channel to inflate it in the intestine. and the internal pressure P of the intestinal balloon at the time of injecting drugs, air, etc. into the large intestine through the same rectal catheter, or expelling drugs, air, etc. from the same intestine.
A method for measuring colonic pressure is hot, which is characterized in that the pressure applied to the inner wall of the colon is determined by the differential pressure value detected by a pressure sensor installed in an air injection path for injecting air into an intestinal balloon and calculated.

The tip of the rectal catheter is inserted into the rectum through the anus, and air is injected from the F injection path of the intestinal balloon using a syringe or the like to inflate the intestinal balloon within the large intestine. The pressure exerted on the inner wall of the large intestine at this point is considered to be the same as the internal pressure Po of the intestinal balloon, and this internal pressure PO of the intestinal balloon is taken as the intestinal pressure when no medicine or air is injected or excreted.

When barium is injected from the drug injection tube in the above state, the barium is injected into the large intestine through the drug injection hole made at the tip of the rectal catheter. The internal pressure in the large intestine increases due to barium injection, but at the same time, the front side of the intestinal balloon also receives pressure through this barium, so the internal pressure of the intestinal balloon increases. From the internal pressure P of the intestinal balloon at this point to the internal pressure Po of the intestinal balloon at the time when the drug is not injected.
The value obtained by subtracting this value is the actual pressure value inside the large intestine.

By setting the drug evacuation tube side of the rectal catheter to negative and positive to make the pressure inside the intestine negative and positive, barium and air in the intestine are aspirated, resulting in a negative pressure in the intestine, and therefore the intestinal balloon is decompressed. The value obtained by subtracting the internal pressure Po of the intestinal balloon at the time when the drug is not injected from the internal pressure P of the intestinal balloon at this point becomes the negative pressure value actually applied to the large intestine.

However, the F injection path is shared with the intestinal balloon (2), and the pressure sensor (11) is similarly attached to the F injection path (4) for measurement. Since the intestinal balloon (II) is used only for measurement, it does not need to be as large as the intestinal balloon (2) for leak prevention, and it does not reduce the examination range inside the intestine. In addition, the intestinal balloon (2) A separate air injection supply may be provided exclusively for testing intestinal pressure.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the present invention, the pressure inside the large intestine is measured using the internal pressure of the intestinal balloon. What was previously determined can be accurately detected mechanically and continuously without individual differences or ambiguity, making it possible to perform tests while maintaining appropriate and safe intestinal pressure. In addition, it is very easy to handle, does not require any special skills, and operates stably, so it is safe because doctors, nurses, etc. do not have to make adjustments during X-ray transmission and are exposed to radiation. Additionally, conventional rectal catheters can also be used, making it very economical.
