Abstract

PURPOSE:To connect with plural communication lines by accumulating a data memory received from one of the plural communication lines, selecting a different communication line, executing an outgoing call and transferring the data of a memory. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming cell is received from either of lines 9 or 11 at the time of an automatic receiving, a CPU 1 connects the line of an automatic receiving side with a device. At the time of a manual communication, the CPU 1 detects the condition of receivers 10 and 12 by monitoring an off- hook detection parts H1 and H2, when a start key 2 is pressed and either of the receivers is in the off-hook condition, that line is connected with the device. At the time of an automatic outgoing call, the automatic call to a line instructed by a code is executed, at the time of a relay, received image data are once accumulated in an image memory 30, after the line is selected by the instructed code and the automatic outgoing call is executed, the image data are transmitted from the image memory 30. Thus, the plural lines can be accommodated and a communication between nets unable to connect can be executed.

(One possible method that does not use these codes is to automatically call the line selected in 5W27.) (4) When receiving from one side and relaying it, the image data received from one line will be sent once. The image is stored in the image memory 30. After selecting a line and making an automatic call in the same way as in (3) using the code added to the beginning of the relay destination number instructed by the other party, image data is transmitted from the image memory 30.
