Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a retightening effect as well as to make an emergency escape easy by energizing a block divided into circular arcs in the diametral expansion direction and connecting them together via an elastic body, encircling a winding shaft to be possible to contact or separate, while winding a rope on the block and connecting the roped end to a retightener. CONSTITUTION:A gear 18 is clamped to a winding shaft 2 being solidly rotated together with a spool whose one end is engaged with a belt. A tooth part 21 engageable with the gear 18 is formed in an inner circumferential part of the block 20 divided into plural pieces, while the divided blocks 20 are connected to one another in the diametral expansion direction by a spring 23, and usually the tooth part 21 and the gear 18 are not engaged with each other. A rope 24 is rolled on the circumference of the divided blocks 20, the one end is connected to a retightener and the other end is set to a free end where load is applied. When the retightener works and thereby the rope 24 is pulled when something is wrong, the block 20 is diametrally contacted, engaged with the winding shaft 2 and rotated so that a tightening effect is brought into full play at once. When a movement of the rope 24 is stopped, the block 20 is diametrally expanded again by the spring 23 so that belt delivery is facilitated.

[Prior Art] Generally, automobiles are equipped with a safety belt device to save occupants from collisions, but this safety belt device is a belt-shaped belt that is fixed to the vehicle body or can be fed out and retracted from a tractor. The structure is such that the belt fastens the passenger's body to the seat.

There are various types of conventional safety belt devices of this type, but basically, a spool is attached to one end of a take-up shaft that is biased to rotate in one direction, and one end of the belt is attached to the spool. The belt is connected and wound, and the other end of the belt is fixed to a part of the vehicle body to form a loop, and the belt is fed out through a through ring inserted through the loop. By fixing the tongue fixed to the through ring to other parts of the vehicle body and engaging and disengaging it from the buckle, the belt can be hung around the passenger's body, and when the tongue is removed from the buckle, the belt rotates around the winding shaft. It is wound onto a spool by the force of a spring. When a vehicle collides, a lock pawl mechanism that stops the rotation of the winding shaft is engaged with a ratchet attached to the other end of the winding shaft by the movement of a sensor (pendulum) that detects the impact of the vehicle body. The pawl of the lock pawl mechanism engages with the ratchet to lock the take-up shaft so that it cannot rotate, so that the belt is not unwound.

However, according to the above-mentioned conventional safety belt device, the winding shaft is biased to rotate in the winding direction, so that the belt is always wound around the spool. By operating, the winding mechanism is locked and even if the belt stops being pulled out,
The winding of the belt is done by the force of a spring, and since the belt is wound loosely on the reel of the winding mechanism, it is loose rather than hard or tight, and even after the winding mechanism is locked, the belt is wound loosely on the reel of the winding mechanism. As the body moves forward, the belt on the reel is tightened, causing a phenomenon in which the belt is pulled out slightly (film spool effect). If this phenomenon occurs, the belt will be pulled out from the retractor that much more, and as a result, the amount of forward movement of the occupant will increase, and there is a risk that the occupant's head will collide with the steering column or dash board, which is not desirable from a safety standpoint. do not have.

Recently, a re-tightening device (so-called preloader) has been added that instantly rotates the winding shaft in the winding direction in order to instantly remove the loosening of the belt as described above when the car body receives an impact. A safety belt device is provided. This re-tightening device is a pulley with a cylinder attached to the safety belt device, a piston inserted into the cylinder, one end of the cable body fixed to the piston, and the cable body pivoted on the winding shaft. In order to create a fluid pressure that instantly pushes the piston along the cylinder, the gunpowder is loaded into the cylinder, and the other end becomes a free end with a frictional load. It is equipped with a gas generator with a sensor attached to the front of the vehicle body that detonates in the event of a vehicle collision.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, according to the above-mentioned Brillogoo, a gear is attached to a winding shaft, a pulley having an internal toothed portion that meshes with the gear is provided, and a cable is attached to the pulley. The body is wound several times, or the pulley and the gear on the winding shaft are configured to be able to be engaged and disengaged via a clutch, so in the former case, the gear and pulley are always meshed and the cable body It is always separated from the pulley, and when the cable body is pulled, it slides into contact with the pulley for the first time and rotates it, so the cable body is in a so-called idle movement until the cable body wraps around the pulley. As a result, the effect of pulling the cable body is weakened, so it is necessary to increase the degree of frictional engagement between the pulley and the cable body, and there is a possibility that the desired effect may not necessarily be fully achieved. However, if the frictional engagement of the pulley is increased, it will become difficult for the cable to separate from the pulley immediately after finishing its movement, so the take-up shaft will not be able to rotate in the belt unwinding direction, and the belt will not be able to be pulled out, causing the occupant to However, there is a risk that the passenger may still be restrained in his or her seat and be unable to make an emergency evacuation. In addition, in the latter case, since the clutch is configured to be able to engage and disengage from the gear, the configuration is complicated due to the large number of parts, and assembly is troublesome.
Furthermore, the clutch is likely to be damaged, and there is also a risk that the desired effect may not be fully achieved.

[Function] According to the above configuration of the present invention, the top formed by dividing the annular body into a plurality of pieces is always in contact with the cable body while being separated from the winding shaft via the elastic body, so that there is no abnormality. Sometimes, when the retensioning device acts and pulls the cable, the top reduces in diameter and immediately engages the winding shaft, causing the winding shaft to wind and rotate. When the cable body stops moving, each piece expands in diameter in the radial direction by the force of the elastic body and is disengaged from the winding shaft, so that the winding shaft can unwind and rotate. There is no problem in letting out the belt.

To explain the operation of the first embodiment, when the sensor installed at the front of the vehicle body receives an impact during a vehicle collision, the gunpowder loaded inside the gas generator 6 explodes and instantly releases a large amount of gunpowder. Gas flows into the cylinder 26, causing the piston 27 to momentarily move toward the tapered end of the cylinder 26. When the piston 27 moves, the cable body 24 is pulled toward the cylinder 26, but since a part of the cable body 24 slides against the pipe spring 16 at the curved part of 'tR14 and receives some frictional resistance, the cable body 24 is pulled toward the cylinder 26 side. 24 frictionally engages each piece 20, causing it to rotate and simultaneously contract in diameter. Therefore, the arcuate tooth portion 21 of each frame 20 meshes with the gear 18, and the winding shaft 2 is forcibly rotated via the tooth portion 9 that meshes with the inner tooth portion 19 of the gear 18. Therefore, since the spool 3 rotates together with the winding shaft 2, the belt 4 is rapidly wound around the spool 3.
That slackness disappears. In this way, the slack in the belt 4 is eliminated, the occupant is tightly restrained to the seat, and the body is prevented from moving forward significantly due to the reaction caused by the impact, thereby preventing a so-called secondary collision. Then, when the movement of the cable body 24 is stopped, the respective pieces 20 are expanded in the radial direction by the force of the coil spring 23, so that the meshing between the arcuate teeth 21 and the gear 18 is released, and the winding @2 can now rotate regardless of each frame 20. Therefore, the occupant can easily let out the belt 4 that has been tightened as described above and make an emergency escape from the vehicle.

To explain the operation of the second embodiment, when the cable member 24 is pulled toward the cylinder 26 by the piston 27 in the same way as in the previous example, the cable member 24 rotates both pieces 35° 35 and at the same time 35 and 35 rotate in a direction approaching each other around the shaft pin 36, and due to this rotation, the arcuate tooth portion 21
, 21 mesh with the gear 18, the winding shaft 2 rotates via the teeth 9 that mesh with the inner teeth 19 of the gear 18, and the spool 3
rotates together with the winding shaft 2, and the belt 4 is instantly wound up. Then, when the movement of the cable body 24 stops,
Since the pieces 35 and 35 expand in the radial direction around the shaft pin 36 by the force of the helical spring 37, which is an elastic body, the engagement between the arcuate toothed portion 21 and the gear 18 is released, and the winding shaft 2
5. You will be able to rotate regardless of 35. Therefore, the passenger tightens the belt 4 as described above.
Since it can be extended again, it becomes easier to make an emergency escape from the vehicle.

To explain the operation of the third embodiment, when the cable body 24 is pulled toward the cylinder 26 in the same way as in the previous example,
At the same time as spinning top 35.35, spinning top 35.35
are forcibly rotated around the shaft pin 36 in a direction approaching each other, thereby causing the arcuate tooth portions 21, 21 to rotate toward the gear 1.
8, the gear 18 rotates, and the inner peripheral tooth portion 19 of the gear 18
The winding shaft 2 rotates via the toothed portion 9 that meshes with the belt, the spool 3 rotates, and the belt 4 is instantaneously wound. and,
When the movement of the cable body 24 stops, the pieces 35° 35 expand outward around the shaft pin 36 by the force of the helical spring 37, so that the meshing between the arcuate teeth 21, 21 and the gear I8 is prevented. It is released, and the winding shaft 2 can now rotate regardless of the frames 35 and 35. Therefore, the occupant can again let out the belt 4 that has been tightened as described above.

[Effect of the Invention] According to the invention described above, at one end of the winding shaft of the safety belt winding device, a piece formed by dividing an annular body into a plurality of arc-shaped bodies is attached to the winding shaft. At the same time, a cable body is arranged so as to be able to come into contact with and separate from the top, and a cable body is arranged to wrap around and surround the top, and one end of the cable body is connected to a re-tensioning device, while the other end is connected to the re-tightening device. When a predetermined load is applied to the retightening device, when the retensioning device acts, the diameter of the piece with which the cable is always frictionally engaged contracts and engages with the winding shaft, causing the winding shaft to immediately rotate. Since the belt is re-tightened, there is no idle rotation between the cable body and the top, and the belt re-tightening effect is high.Furthermore, the diameter of the top is contracted and rotated, and then expanded by the force of the elastic body. Since the belt is separated from the take-up shaft, the take-up shaft can rotate freely as before, so the belt can be re-unrolled after re-tightening, making it easy to escape from the vehicle in an emergency. It's safe.
