(b) Conventional technology and its problems In the conventional sequin continuous body, a sequin element formed in the shape of a thin disc with a through hole in the center is inserted through the thread through the through hole, and adjacent sequins are connected to each other. A backing thread is applied to one side of the sequin element group in a state where the elements are partially overlapped, and the thread and the backing thread are fastened together with a fastening thread. When the conventional fastened sequin continuum having the above-mentioned configuration is attached to an object to be decorated, while hooking the sewing thread on the backing thread,
This is carried out by sewing and forming the decoration onto the object to be decorated. This sewing work is extremely complicated, has low work efficiency, and is economically disadvantageous. Furthermore, since the conventional sequin continuum is attached by sewing, it has the disadvantage that the materials for the object to be decorated are limited to some extent.

(d) Technical Means of the Present Invention In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention specifically includes a large number of sequin elements each having a through hole in the center, and a plurality of sequin elements having a through hole in the center thereof. A thread that is supported in a continuous manner as a row of sequin elements through each of the through holes, and a large number of sequin elements that are supported in a continuous manner by the thread are connected so that each adjacent sequin element partially overlaps each other. In order to achieve this, the sequin element row is composed of a backing thread that is fastened together by a fastening thread to the thread from one side of the row of sequin elements, and the sequin element, the thread and the fastening thread are made of a material that is relatively resistant to heat. This is a continuum of bound sequins in which the backing yarn is a thermofusible yarn.

In this invention, the sequin element 1 consists of a thin disc body with a through hole 2 in the center. The sequin element 1 is formed from a relatively heat-resistant plastic, such as a piece of polyester, and a thin disc-shaped metal piece. The plastic sequin element 1 has been subjected to surface treatment with high light reflectance. The sequin element 1 is continuously inserted into and supported by the thread 3 through the through hole 2. On the other hand, the backing thread 4 is applied to the back side of the group of sequin elements inserted through the thread 3 in a state in which adjacent sequin elements 1 are partially overlapped as shown in FIG. 3. The thread 3 and the backing thread 4 are fastened together by a retaining thread 5, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. In this invention, the threading 3
The fastening yarn 5 is made of a relatively heat-resistant yarn such as polyester yarn or natural yarn, whereas the backing yarn 4 is made of a yarn that is relatively resistant to heat, such as polyester yarn or natural yarn, whereas the backing yarn 4 is made of a yarn that is relatively resistant to heat, such as polyester yarn or natural yarn, whereas the backing yarn 4 is made of a yarn that is relatively resistant to heat, such as a polyester yarn or a natural yarn. It is composed of thermofusible threads such as nylon threads. Said backing thread 4
For example, 5 to 15 threads of about 100 denier are used. If the number of doubling yarns is large, it is advantageous in terms of adhesion, but it is disadvantageous in terms of surface flow during heat fusion.If there is too few, surface flow during heat fusion can be prevented, but on the other hand, the bonding It is disadvantageous in that its strength is weak.

The sewn sequin continuum of this invention having the above structure is provided as a continuum, and is cut into lengths as required to realize a desired pattern on the surface of the object H. The backing threads are placed in contact with each other, and the backing threads are melted and fixed onto the surface of the object by heat fusion using heat source means such as an iron.

Furthermore, the sequin continuum according to this invention includes threading for passing each sequin element in the continuum through a through hole provided in the sequin element;
Since this thread is connected to the backing thread which is fastened with a fastening thread, it is easy to handle the sequin elements in the process of finishing the sequin continuous body. The thread is a thermofusible thread and does not have adhesive properties unless heated, so it is easy to handle and the elements for connecting each sequin element are all linear threads. It can be said that it is extremely effective in that it can be made to follow any curve as a continuum of sequin elements, and it is possible to decorate objects in a curved manner.
