１４〜１９と、前記イグニツシヨンスイツチ２と
衝突検出手段１４〜１９との間に介挿されるエア
バツク展開用のバツクアツプコンデンサ７と、前
記衝突検出手段１４〜１９からの検出出力に基づ
いてエアバツクを展開せしめる作動制御部２０Ａ
と、該作動制御部または前記衝突検出手段１４〜
１９のうちの少なくともいずれか一方の異常をチ
エツクする診断回路１０と、該診断回路によつて
検出された異常を記憶する記憶部１２とを備えた
エアバツクシステムにおいて、前記バツクアツプ
コンデンサ７と同等のコンデンサ７ａを並列に設
けると共に、該双方のコンデンサの充電電圧を比
較する比較回路２３を設け、かつ該比較回路の出
力に基づいて前記コンデンサ７，７ａを択一的に
選択する切換選択回路２４を設けてなることを特
