Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry out the lining of containers for molten metal in a simple manner and under good working conditions by pouring an amorphous refractory material into the space between the inner surfaces of a container for molten metal and the outer surfaces of a flexible bladder and, after curing, by drawing off fluid from the interior of the bladder, it is then removed. CONSTITUTION:A flexible bladder 6 is put into a container for molten metal 3 through the iron inlet 4 and fastened in place by a supporting means 9; after filling the bladder by pouring a fluid therein, an amorphous refractory material 12 is poured into the interior through the iron inlet 4 so as to be placed between permanent lining brick 5 and the flexible bladder 6 and cured. After the curing, the fluid in the bladder 6 is drawn off, the bladder-supporting means 9 is removed from the iron inlet 4, and the bladder 6 now having shrunk is removed from the iron inlet 4. By subsequent having and drying the amorphous refractory lining 12 is completed. Thus the work of forming a amorphous refractory lining can be simplified and an improvement can be achieved in the efficiency of the work and the conditions under which the work is carried out.

Problems that the invention aims to solve However, with conventional construction methods, it takes time and labor to construct the core framework, and the core framework is simply disassembled after the poured material has hardened. Because the shape of the molten metal cannot be changed, it cannot be applied to molten metal containers with narrow openings such as converters and pig iron mixers.

The book ``Means to Solve the Problems'' was written in consideration of the above-mentioned points, and in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, it is intended to solve the above-mentioned problems. Inside the molten metal container, flexible bags such as rubberized cloth bags or synthetic resin bags are filled with a fluid such as air or water and arranged at regular intervals along the inner circumferential surface of the molten metal container. A monolithic refractory is poured between the inner circumferential surface of the flexible bag and the outer circumferential surface of the flexible bag and hardens. After the monolithic refractory hardens, the fluid inside the flexible bag is discharged and the flexible bag is removed from the molten metal container. To provide a method for constructing a monolithic refractory for a molten metal container, which is characterized by:

According to the present invention, when lining a molten metal container with a refractory material, the flexible bag is inserted through the opening and fluid flows into the flexible bag to inflate it.
The core of a flexible bag can be formed. The lining of the thus formed molten metal container or the like can be lined by pouring a monolithic refractory between the inner peripheral surface of the lining brick and the flexible bag.

For lining the molten metal container 3 of this mixed pig iron car 1, the shape of the inner peripheral surface of the lining brick 5 of the molten metal container 3 is reduced to approximately the same shape as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. A flexible bag body 6 made of a rubberized cloth bag or synthetic resin is formed on the bag. A slightly elongated cylindrical fluid insertion lower is protruded from the upper center of the flexible bag 6, and a fitting 8 such as a stainless steel pipe is attached around the fluid insertion lower.
As shown in the figure, it can be attached to the pigtail receiving port 4 of the pig iron mixer truck 1 via the required bag supporting material 9. Then, the cap 11 with the fluid pipe 10 attached to the cap fitting 8 of the flexible bag body 6 is removably attached in an airtight manner by screwing or the like, and water, air, powder, granular material, styrofoam, etc. are passed through the fluid supply pipe IO. , paraffin, and other fluids can be introduced. In this way, fluid is introduced between the outer circumferential surface of the flexible bag 6 which is inflated along the inner circumference of the molten metal container 3 and the inner circumferential surface of the permanent lining brick 5 inside the molten metal container 3. The lining is constructed by pouring the monolithic refractory 12 and hardening the monolithic refractory 12.

Therefore, when constructing a new lining for the molten metal container 3 of the pig iron mixing car 1 or removing old material and constructing the lining, the flexible bag body 6 is used as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The molten metal container 3 is inserted into the molten metal container 3 through the opening 4, fixed by the bag supporting material 9, and then fluid is introduced to inflate it. 3 is loaded between the permanent lining brick 5 and the flexible bag body 6 and hardened. After the monolithic refractory material 12 is hardened, the fluid inside the flexible bag body 6 is discharged and the bag support material is removed from the pig iron receiving port 4. 9 is removed, the flexible bag body 6 is deflated and taken out from the pig iron receiving port 4. Then, the monolithic refractory material 12 is heated and dried to form an inner lining.

In this way, the lining of monolithic refractories can be easily installed through the flexible bag, improving work efficiency and eliminating the need for workers to enter the pig iron mixing truck, thereby improving the working environment.

In addition, when pouring the above-mentioned monolithic refractories, air or steam is blown into the fluid in the flexible bag in the case of water, or the fluid itself is pressurized to generate pulsations and shocks. It is possible to improve the fluidity of the monolithic refractory by applying vibration to the surface of the body, and also to deaerate the material and increase the packing density.

In the above embodiments, a pig iron mixer car has been described, but the present invention can be similarly applied to a molten metal container such as a converter where the opening is not large and narrow. Further, although it is preferable to use a container with a small opening as described above, the same method can be applied to a molten metal container such as a ladle or tap trough that is framed in a conventional manner.

Effects of the Invention As described above, in the present invention, a core can be formed by flowing fluid into the flexible bag, and a monolithic refractory material is formed between the inner circumferential surface of the lining brick of the molten metal container and the flexible bag. The lining can be constructed by pouring materials, making the lining construction easy and in a good working environment. In particular, it is now possible to mechanically pour monolithic refractories into molten metal containers with narrow openings such as those used in pig iron trucks, which was previously impossible to do, without requiring workers to enter inside and line the lining manually. It is something.
