Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the material yield and production efficiency by executing punching by interposing a plate-like stock by the stripper having stationary claw and mobile claw by placing it on a die and press-forming the edge in a curved face. CONSTITUTION:A plate-like stock 5 is placed on the die 7 upper face having a punched hole 6, held by interposing it by the stripper 10 having the stockloid of a fixed claw 8 and movable claw 9. Punching is then executed by a punch 11, it is led out of the punched hole 6 as a knitted fabric latch needle as well and an intermediate stage needle body is formed by press-forming the upper and lower faces 41 of a needle trunk 4 in a crest-shaped curved face. A product needle is obtd. by forming tip part, jack part and butt 3. The material yield and production efficiency are improved because the chamfering of the edge and deburring can be omitted as well as punching is executed by the punch 11.

However, with this stockinette knitting needle, the upper and lower surfaces of the needle stem become flat surfaces due to the punching process, and as a result, a burr or edge is formed at the punching edge, so it is necessary to remove the burr or chamfer the edge as post-processing. Polishing and cutting are performed to meet this need, but productivity does not increase because each side of the book is processed, and cutting into an arc shape in particular becomes a complicated process, resulting in many variations in the product. It is not practical, and the surface area of the punched surface does not increase, and the dimensional accuracy of the jack part varies, and correction of surface roughness is troublesome, resulting in poor accuracy, poor material yield, and quality control issues in finishing. But there was a problem.

In the method for manufacturing stockinette knitting needles of the present invention, when shear-punching a strip-shaped or plate-shaped material and shaping it into the needle stem, the plate-shaped material is placed on a die with punched holes to be formed. While the entire plate-like material is held in place by a stripper with a fixed claw and a movable claw, the stockinette knitting needle is punched out from the punched hole, and the needle bar is press-formed. The long cross section of the press die is aligned in the pressing direction, and the opposite short side surfaces are pressed into curved curved surfaces in the shape of a mountain with no edges to form an intermediate process needle bar in which the upper and lower surfaces of the stockinette knitting needles are made into smooth arcuate surfaces. It is possible to efficiently produce stockinette knitting needles in which the tip and rear ends of the needle bar are formed into the compression required for stockinette knitting.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7 for an example of a jack knitting needle. A tip end portion 1 of a push-button end is formed, and a jack portion 2 and a rear end portion are formed on the opposite side of the tip end portion 1. When making a jack knitting needle in which the butt 3 is formed on the needle stem 4,
When shearing and punching the plate material 5 and shaping it into the needle stem 4,
The plate-like material 5 is placed on a die with punched holes 6 to be formed, and while it is in the placed state, the entire plate-like material is clamped and held by a stripper 10 having a stockoid of fixed claws 8 and movable claws 9. At the same time, the punch 11 punches out the knitting needle body as a stockinette knitting needle body through the punched hole, and the upper and lower surfaces 41 of the needle stem 4 are aligned with the long cross section in the pressing direction of the press molding die 13 having the molding surface 12, and the upper and lower surfaces are are pressed into a mountain-shaped curved surface with no edges to form an intermediate process needle bar in which the upper surface 41 and lower surface 41 of the stockinette knitting needle are made into smooth arcuate surfaces, and the tip of this needle bar is tapered and the tip portion 1 or bent. A step of forming a hook, a step of forming a bellow groove with a milling cutter, a step of rotatably attaching a bellow to the bellow groove, and a step of machining a jack portion 2 and a butt 3 at the rear end of the needle shaft 4. The stockinette knitting needles are pressed. (FIGS. 5 and 6) The stripper 10 holds the plate material 5 with the fixed claw 8.
While pressing both sides of the plate material 5 with the opposing stockroids of the movable claws 9 that move toward and away from the material, the material is held between the diamond and the slider of the press, and then punched with the punch 11. (Also, insert the stockroid claws 8 into the pair of positioning holes 14 formed in the diamond.
, 9 respectively, and after shearing and punching with the punch 11 while holding the plate material 5, the upper and lower surfaces 4+, 4+ of the needle bar are inserted.
It is preferable to press it into a mountain-shaped curved surface with no edges.

In this case, the plate material 5 is preferably a strip or plate with a rectangular cross section that is rolled and press-formed, and a material with a predetermined cross-sectional area is selected in advance in consideration of the elongation of the material during pressing. As shown in FIG. 7, the press mold 13 has a concave molding surface curved in an arc shape, and a die with rounded chamfers 121 on both sides is used to form the press mold 13.
It is preferable to press the upper surface 41 and the lower surface 41 so that a mountain-shaped curved surface is formed at the same time, and if necessary, use a split mold 13 to press the side surfaces. You can also select and use.

The press molds 13 for press molding may be used in pairs, and a combination of a movable side die and a fixed side die may be used, or both sides may be pressed under pressure with the movable side die, and both sides may be shaped at the same time. It may be selected as desired depending on the pressing die 13 or the needle stem material to press only the upper and lower surfaces into curved surfaces.

The present invention provides a method for forming a plate-like material by shearing and punching a needle stem whose front end and rear end have been formed into the shape required for stockinette knitting, on a die with a punching hole to be formed. The plate-shaped material is placed, and while the plate-shaped material is being placed, the entire plate-shaped material is held and held by a stripper with a stockroid with fixed claws and movable claws.
By punching out stockinette knitting needles with a punch and guiding them through the punched holes, productivity can be significantly improved by omitting the need for deburring and edge chamfering, and it is also easy to make the top and bottom surfaces of the stockinette knitting needles rounded. The surface roughness has been significantly improved, and there is no need for surface finishing, so it can be effectively used as a product as it is, and the inconveniences and drawbacks of conventional processing can be eliminated, making it possible to simplify the processing process and improve material yield. In addition, the production efficiency can be greatly improved, and the slotting process, grinding, and polishing work processes that impede mass production can be omitted, and the outer circumferential surface is smoother, the surface retention is improved, and the knitting characteristics are significantly improved, resulting in product value. This also has the effect of significantly reducing production costs.
