Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare an artificial tooth having a tooth surface whose hue is same to that of an inherent tooth surface, by providing a correction plate for correcting the error of light due to a light source, a hue color-difference meter for spectrally diffracting the input light from the tooth surface to convert the same to an electric signal and a discrimination means for discriminating the hue of the tooth surface. CONSTITUTION:The reflected light from the inherent tooth 1 irradiated with the light from the light emitting element 2b of a hue color-difference meter 2 is formed into an image on a photodetector 2c by a lens 2a to be inputted. This input light is incident to R-, G- and B-photodetectors 2c and P, G and B are simultaneously measured independently and the measured weak currents are amplified by an amplifying part 2d to be sent to an A/D converting part 3. The digitalized data signal is inputted to a CPU 4 to be corrected on the basis of the measured data of a light source by a correction white plate 6 and again converted by an A/D converter to obtain color data which is, in turn, compared with the shade guide data of an ROM 4a and the hue of the inherent tooth 1 is discriminated to be displayed on a display apparatus 5 as the color data thereof. By this method, an artificial tooth having a tooth surface whose hue is same to that of the inherent tooth surface can be prepared.

In dentistry, when creating artificial teeth, patient-specific teeth (
The artificial tooth must have the same color as the tooth surface of the tooth (hereinafter referred to as the natural tooth). Conventionally, a dentist shines light on the unique tooth surface, visually compares the unique tooth surface with the color of a shade guide (tooth crown color sample), and determines the color of the tooth surface in the shade guide, for example, A, , A, and the standard. They decided on standard values and instructed the creation of pre-artificial materials. When artificial teeth are created in this way, there may be a considerable difference in color from the natural tooth surface after the artificial tooth is created due to differences in the way light is applied and the sense of visual measurement. There were some cases where complaints were made.

A KGB light receiving element 2c that can measure the three primary colors of B independently and simultaneously, for example, is a ceramic type and is particularly advantageous for measuring white color differences.
, an amplifier section 2d that converts the minute current input from the light-receiving element 2c into a voltage sufficient to transmit it to the arithmetic unit 1 display device, and sends the information to the A/D converter section 3; The tip 142f that comes into direct close contact is open, and is made of rubber, for example, and can be manually attached and detached each time the person to be measured changes, and is equipped with a light leakage prevention cover 20 that prevents light from leaking from the tip. As mentioned above, the input light from the unique tooth 1 is divided into R, G, H
The RGB light receiving element 2C is designed to focus on the center of the eigentooth using a lens 2a system in order to improve measurement accuracy. A region with a diameter of 2n+m at the center of the tooth is measured. Next, 3 is a secondary amplification circuit that amplifies the output from the color difference meter 2, an A/D conversion circuit that converts an electric signal that is an analog signal into a digital signal, and a register.
For example, the CPU is equipped with a 10 bit bus.
The amplifier 4 connected to 4 performs data conversion to recalculate the digitized data signal as color information, correction using the measurement data of the light source (light emitting element) by the correction white plate 6, and outputs the corrected data to the teeth. ROM4a as color difference information
This is a CPU that compares and discriminates the shade guide data stored in the shade guide data, and displays it on the display device 5 as color information.
