原稿送り込み手段と、斜行ローラにより斜め送り
された原稿の位置決めを行うためのサイドガイド
とを設け、原稿モードの設定により１枚の原稿の
送りと、２枚の原稿の平行送りとを任意に選択可
能に構成してなる装置において、 １枚の原稿の送りの場合にも、２枚目の原稿送
り機能が作動されるようにその搬送機構と第２原
稿用センサーとを構成し、大サイズの原稿を第２
原稿用センサーにより検知した際に、その検知情
報により第２原稿用ローラによる搬送機構を作動
させ得るように構成するとともに、 大サイズの原稿を第２原稿用センサーにより検
知し、第２原稿用ローラを作動させて大サイズの
原稿の送りを行う際に、該第２原稿用ローラによ
る送りの動作を、大サイズの原稿がゲートに突当
たる前の段階で解除し、その後で斜行ローラのみ
によつて原稿のレジストレーシヨンの作用を行う
