Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform treatment capable of continuously administering a drug liquid to an inflammatory region and utilizing an artificial tooth imparting no sense of incongruity, by mounting an inlay material composed of a substance capable of absorbing and gradually releasing the drug liquid to at least a part of an artificial tooth main body. CONSTITUTION:A bore is opened to the center of the upper part of an artificial crown 1 and an inlay material 2 composed of porous ceramics is inserted in and fixed to said bore through an adhesive. The artificial tooth main body 1 is fixed to the upper part of the natural tooth 3 supported by the gun 4. As the ceramics forming the inlay material, porous ones easy to absorb a drug liquid and easy to gradually release the impregnated drug liquid such as beta-TCP, hydroxyapatite or the like are used. As the drug liquid to be infiltrated, there are various ones corresponding to treatment purposes, such as one having treatment effect on inflammation such as gingivitis or stomatitis or an antibiotic having cancer treatment effect or the like. When the drug liquid runs out, the inlay material 2 is taken out of the artificial crown 1 and other inlay material newly impregnated with the drug liquid may be inserted and fixed, and the extension of a treatment period can be easily realized.

For this purpose, as a method for administering a medicinal solution into the oral cavity, as described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 57-52060, for example, a cavity in which a medicinal solution can be sealed is formed in the denture, and a medicinal solution administration window that can be opened and closed at the tooth root of the denture is used. There is a method in which a drug solution is administered at the same time as the occlusal action. However, this method has the problem that the drug solution can only be administered during the occlusal action, and treatment cannot be performed by continuous drug solution administration.

With this configuration, the drug solution impregnated with the drug solution sustained release effect of the incorporated material 2 gradually and continuously penetrates into the gingival tissue from the gingival mucosa. Therefore, treatments for inflammation and diseases can be effectively carried out. Moreover, since the implant is integrally fitted and fixed to the upper part of the tooth, treatment can be performed without causing any discomfort to the patient. It is necessary to change the sustained release rate of the drug solution depending on the therapeutic purpose, and this can be done by changing the pore size of the ceramic that forms the incorporated material 2. When the drug solution runs out, the implant 2 can be taken out from the artificial tooth crown 1 and a new implant impregnated with the drug solution can be fitted and fixed, making it easy to extend the treatment period.

7 to 9 above, the entire artificial tooth crown is constructed of porous ceramics impregnated with a drug solution and capable of sustained release, and the drug solution is gradually absorbed through the gingival mucosa. Therefore, it is possible to effectively treat mucosal inflammation such as stomatitis and gingivitis, and mucosal cancer diseases. In the case of the eighth and ninth embodiments, the artificial tooth root 18 itself is also made of ceramics similar to the artificial tooth crown, and the chemical solution is impregnated into the artificial tooth root 18 or both with the artificial tooth crown. You can also do it. Artificial tooth root 1
When 8 is impregnated with a drug solution for sustained release, the drug solution leaches into the gingiva, making it possible to effectively treat cancer deep in the gingiva and alveolar bone cancer. When both are impregnated with a drug solution for sustained release, the drug solution is absorbed from both the gingival mucosa and the gingival region, making it possible to effectively treat a wide range of inflammations and diseases.
