Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent troubles in printing due to erroneous aim in a simple manner by blowing air downward from above onto a sheet which is being transferred over a base plate so as to correct a weaving condition for making the front edge of the sheet true, and forwarding the sheet thereafter with blow-out of air suspended after the sheet has been held. CONSTITUTION:An uppermost sheet 11 on a sheet piling plate 8 is sucked up by a sucking device 14 located on the upper section of a sheet feeding section 2, is forwarded between a roller 15 and a roller 16, is forwarded onto a feeder board 17 and then, is forwarded onto a base plate 24 by a sheet feeding belt 19. In this place, the sheet 11 takes aim at alignment laterally by a side guide, and vertically by a front guide 26. However, when the sheet is in a weaving condition, it can not take aim at alignment substantially. Accordingly, a valve 32 is opened just before the front edge of the sheet 11 is brought in contact with the front guide 26 so that air is blown out from a gap between an upper and a lower guide 40 and 42 so as to eliminate the weaving condition. Under this condition, the sheet 11 is held by a swing gripper 25 while being substantially aimed at alignment. In the second place, the valve 32 is closed so that the sheet does not vibrate so as to pass through among a press drum 28, a blanket drum 29 and a drum 30 for letting the printing of No.1 and No.2 color be processed.

The paper stacked on the paper stacking table in the paper feed section of a sheet-fed printing machine is suctioned one by one, starting from the topmost paper, by the sucker device at the top of the paper feed section, and is positioned vertically and rotated in the delivery direction. It is caught by the rollers and rollers that are running, and is delivered onto the feeder board by these rollers and rollers. Further, the paper is fed onto the substrate by a paper transport belt rotating on a feeder board, and the front edge of the paper is aligned by a preposition provided adjacent the front edge of the substrate. At this time, if the front edge of the paper is wavy, even if you align the front edge with the front pad, the paper is actually not aligned, and in this state, it will not swing. Even if the paper is clipped by a daripper and sent to the printing department, printing problems will occur due to misregistration. For this reason, in conventional paper stretching devices for sheet-fed printing presses, a thin stainless steel plate is placed from above the substrate along the front edge of the substrate to correct the wavy state of the front edge of the paper. In this way, the aligned paper is gripped by a swing gripper and sent to the paper feed cylinder of the printing section. [Problem to be solved by the invention] In the paper tensioning device, a thin stainless steel plate is simply placed along the front edge of the board from above the board, so it is not possible to completely correct the wavy state of the paper, and the paper is held in the wavy state by a swing gripper. The prints were bitten and sent to the next step, the printing department, where they often caused printing defects.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above problems, the paper tensioning device of the sheet-fed printing press of the present invention is located between the feeder boat of the paper feeding section and the paper feeding cylinder of the printing section. a front part adjacent to the front end of the board for vertically registering the paper conveyed onto the board; and a front part for biting the paper whose front end is aligned with the front part. In the sheet-fed printing machine, the sheet-fed printing machine is provided with an air blowing section above the substrate for blowing air onto the substrate body, and a passage for supplying air to the air blowing section. It is equipped with a valve that opens and closes in synchronization with the timing of the bite.

According to the above configuration, the valve is opened on the paper being transferred onto the substrate, and air is blown out from above by the air blowing section.
Correct the wavy state of the paper, align the front edge of the paper accurately without waving with the pre-pad, and when the paper is finished biting with the biting device, close the valve to stop the air from blowing out. , send the paper to the printing department.

This sucker device 14 is connected to a vacuum pump (not shown), and sucks the topmost paper 1 and sends it between rollers 15 and 16. It is sent to the feeder board 17 of section 3. In this registration section 3, the aforementioned feeder board 17 is located in front of the paper feeding section 2 and is supported by left and right main frames 18, 18 in a gently inclined state. A paper feeding belt 19 rotates on the feeder board 17 in the feeding direction to deliver the paper 1, and the rotating shaft 2
It is multiplied by 0. Further, on the corner stay 21 located in front of the feeder board 17 and supported between the main frames 18 and 18, a divided board 22 divided into a plurality of boards in the width direction is supported. There is. This divided board 22 can accommodate changes in paper size by attaching and detaching some of the divided boards 22 in accordance with the movement of the cross stitch device 23 due to the change in paper size. In front of this divided board 22, a board 24 is installed on the left and right main frames 18, 18 in an inclined state. The front end 24a of this board 24 has a notch 24b.
- A predetermined number of notches are formed at regular intervals, and the claws 25a and claw bases 25b of a swing gripper (grabbing device) 25 are loosely fitted into the notches 24b, and the front end of the paper is aligned by the front stop 26. 1 can be bitten by these claws 25a and claw base 25b. The paper 1 gripped by the swing gripper 25 is transferred between the impression cylinder 28 and the blanket cylinder 29 via the paper feed cylinder 27 of the printing section 4 and the impression cylinder 2
8 and the blanket cylinder 30, the first color and the second color are printed. At this time, if the front edge of the paper 1 is undulating, even if the front edge of the paper 1 is formally aligned by the front plate 26, the front edge of the paper 1 will not be aligned in reality. In this state, the swing gripper
25 and sends it to the printing unit 4 and prints, but printing problems occur due to misregistration.

For this reason, the valve 32 is opened just before the front end of the paper 11 contacts the front stop 26, and air is blown onto the paper 11 from the gap between the upper and lower air guides 40 and 42, as shown in FIG. 5(b). Eliminate the wave-like state shown. Therefore, paper 1. In the stretched state, the vertical direction is substantially aligned by the front stop 26. In this state, swing gripper
Since the paper 11 is bitten by the claws 25a and nail bases 25b of 25, the paper 11 is bitten with the register of the paper 1□ substantially aligned. From then on, air is applied to paper 1. Since there is no need to blow out air, the valve 32 is quickly closed to prevent the paper 11 from vibrating due to the air. The paper 11 gripped by the swing gripper 25 is transferred to the impression cylinder 2 via the paper feed cylinder 27.
8 and the blanket cylinder 29 and between the impression cylinder 28 and the blanket cylinder 30, the first color and the second color are printed.

As described above in detail, the paper tensioning device for a sheet-fed printing press of the present invention includes an air blowing section provided above a substrate for blowing air onto the substrate and a passage supplying air to the air blowing section. A paper tensioning device consisting of a valve that opens and closes in synchronization with the timing of the biting of the biting device is installed, and the valve is opened and air is blown down from above by an air blowing unit on the paper being transferred onto the board. After correcting the wavy state of the paper and aligning the front edge of the paper accurately without waving with the front plate, when the paper is finished biting with the biting device, the valve is closed and the air is turned off. Stop the balloon and send the paper to the printing department.

(1) A substrate located between the feeder board of the paper feeding section and the paper feeding cylinder of the printing section, and the vertical orientation of the paper conveyed onto the substrate adjacent to the front end of the substrate. In a sheet-fed printing machine, the sheet-fed printing machine is equipped with a front stop that aligns the front ends of the paper, and a gripping device that clips the paper, the front end of which is aligned with the front stop, and an air blower that blows air onto the board above the board. 1. A paper tensioning device for a sheet-fed printing press, comprising a blow-off portion and a valve provided in a passage for supplying air to the air blow-out portion and opened and closed in synchronization with the timing of the gripping of the gripping device.
