59−210938号などで本出願人が先に開発し特許等
の出願を行なつたものである。然し乍ら、先出願
に係るこの種のスピーカ用ホーンは、前記の蛇腹
体単独から構成されたものであつた。

させれば反射の影響が一層強くなり、ピーク、デ
イツプが大きくて音圧周波数特性に著しい乱れを
生起するとともに、低域の能率も低下し、所期の
ホーン効果を十分に達成できない問題があつた。

射等による上記の如き問題発生を極力回避できる
スピーカ用ホーンを提供する点に目的を有し、こ
の目的達成のために案出された本考案に係るスピ
ーカ用ホーンは、冒頭詳記の構成のものにおい
て、前記蛇腹体内に、該蛇腹体の最大伸縮範囲に
おいて弾性伸縮可能な筒状膜を、その筒軸線方向
の両端のみが蛇腹体のスロート部及び開口部に位
置固定される状態に嵌装させてあるという構成に
特徴を有するものである。

連続する状態でブロー成形されたものであり、ま
た前記筒状膜3は、前記蛇腹体2の最大伸長状態
と最大収縮状態との最大伸縮範囲において平滑な
連続面を維持して弾性伸縮できる、例えば薄肉の
合成ゴム等から形成され、望ましくは、その内周
面全域がテフロン加工などにより平滑処理されて
いるとともに、その筒軸線方向の両端が前記蛇腹
体2のスロート部2A内面及び開口部2B内面に
熱溶着手段により位置固定され、かつ中間部分は
前記蛇腹体2に対してフリーである。

2の開口部2Bには保形兼用の伸縮屈曲操作摘み
11が嵌着支持されている。

よつて、音波方向性や音波到達距離等を自在に調
整してスピーカの指向特性を広範囲に亘つて変更
して使用できる効果を有しながら、しかも、前記
蛇腹体2をいかように伸縮及び屈曲させようと
も、前記筒状膜3の弾性伸縮によつてホーン内面
を常に滑らかな連続面に維持することができるか
ら、蛇腹体2の使用に起因する音波の反射等がな
い、又は、非常に少なく、その上、蛇腹体2の基
本形状を例えばエクスポネンシヤルやハイパボリ
ツクなどホーン効果に優れたいかなる形状に設定
しても前記筒状膜3の使用によりその内面を前述
の通り滑らかな連続面にできるから、全体として
ピーク、デイツプ比が小さく、特に低域での音圧
周波数特性に乱れが少ないとともに、能率も良
く、所期のホーン効果を確実十分に達成できる利
点を有するに至つたのである。
