- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 帯鋼を連続成形してオープンパイプとなし、被
接合端面に高周波電流を通じて加熱・溶融・接合
する製管溶接におけるガスシールド装置であつて
、 オープンパイプ外径より（０．１１〜０．１４
）Ｌ［Ｌ：シールド装置出側〜Ｖ接合点間の距離
］大きい内径を有し、かつ多数のガス噴出口を有
する内筒と、複数個のガス供給口を有し高周波ワ
ークコイルに内接する外筒とからなり、内筒と外
筒との間にシールドガスを通流する構造となした
二重管でシールドボツクスを構成し、該シールド
ボツクスはオープンパイプを同心円上に囲繞する
ごとくＶ接合点後方に近接配置し、前記内筒にＶ
接合点上下面を覆うフードを突設したことを特徴
とする製管溶接用ガスシールド装置。
