表面側には、時刻を示すためにデザインされた略
文字2が接着、溶接、カシメ等により固着される
ものであつた。又従来技術における他の実施例と
しては、第3図および第4図にて示すように、時
刻を示すために目盛13aが印刷、打刻、彫刻さ
れた目盛リング13を接着、溶接、カシメ等によ
り文字板基板11に固着されるものであつた。略

て、基本的側構造は、従来の実施例と同じとした
が、本実施例は、文字板31の外周部を絞り加
工、又、型による曲げ加工等により文字板31の
表面31bより略垂直方向に立設して一体形成さ
れた立体形状部31aを成形する。また前記立体
形状部31aはリング状に形成されるリング状部
31a−1と該リング状部より半径方向に複数個
突出して形成される突出部31a−2とから一体
的に構成され前記リング状部31a−1は側組立
後、側見切の一部として使用するものである。こ
の場合、成形後の平面形状に制限はない。文字板
31の表面31b、リング状部31a−1、およ
び突出部31a−2の模様は、メツキ、塗装等の
表面仕上げ、色調、印刷等はデザイン上一体感を
出すために同一工程で加工し、同一模様、同一色
調で仕上げる。ことにリング状部31a−1の立
上り部の内方側壁部に目盛印刷を施せば従来の目
盛リングとしても使用可能となるものである。本
考案の特徴は文字板表面31bの表面処理を側見
切部まで拡大できる点にある。加えて立体形状3
1aのリング状部31a−1に時刻を表示するた
めの突出部31a−2を半径方向に複数個突出し
て設けることにより、時刻の読み取りが容易にな
る。従来、見切部を文字板表面と同じデザインに
するには、同処理を施した別部材を設置すること
により対処していた。よつて側構造が複数とな
り、トラブル、単価アツプの原因となつていた。
以上の点より小さな側外形で大きな文字板に見せ
ることができ、従来にはないデザインバラエティ

印刷を施せば従来の目盛リングとしても使用可能
となるものである。従来は、文字板表面に固着さ
れた略文字、目盛リング等の範囲で得られる立体
感であつたが、本考案によれば巾の広い立体感を
得ることができ、デザイン要素拡大に有意義な考

が大幅に削減できることとなり、前記各部品の加
工、組立および検査等の工数が著しく低減される
と共に各部品間の固定強度保証に対する問題点が
解消され、コストダウンが図れるという効果を有
する。また前記リング状部が腕時計用側の見切部
を兼ねることが可能となるので、文字板基板の表
面処理が側切部まで延長して同一の表面処理とす
ることが可能になり一体感を有する優れた外観の
腕時計用文字板が偵供できるという効果も有す
る。
