プと高圧プランジヤポンプを備え、ポンプハウジ
ングに形成したフイードポンプの低圧ポンプ室と
、プランジヤポンプの高圧プランジヤ室とを連通
する2つの燃料戻し通路を並列に設け、一方の燃
料戻し通路に電磁パイロツト開閉弁を介装し、こ
の電磁パイロツト開閉弁は電磁力により駆動され
るパイロツト弁と、このパイロツト弁によりその
背圧を調整されるバランスピストンを備え、この
バランスピストンにより前記高圧プランジヤ室か
ら燃料を低圧ポンプ室に流出させることにより燃
料噴射終了時期を調整するとともに、他方の燃料
戻し通路に電磁開閉弁を介装し、この電磁開閉弁
を介して高圧プランジヤ室から低圧ポンプ室へ流
出する燃料を遮断することにより燃料噴射開始時
期を調整するように構成したことを特徴とするデ
