Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a safety device for preventing a fire and a burn by providing control means for condensing light radiated from a combustion part and outputting a signal to at least either one of alarming means on fire extinguishing means of the combustion part by variation in the condensed light. CONSTITUTION:Light at a combustion part 9, condensed by condensing means 1 passes through light transfer means 2 and is radiated from radiating means 3. Light receiving means 4 protected by an interrupting plate 5 so that light from the combustion part cannot be obtained, always receives light from light radiating means 3 opposing the light receiving means 4. When an optical path of light receiving means 4a-4d from the light radiation means 3 is interrupted, it becomes impossible to receive light radiated from the light radiating means 3 and the signal from the light receiving means does not enter control means 8. Therefore, the output of NAND circuit 11 is turned on. When the output of the NAND circuit 11 is turned on for a predetermined period of time, a timer 12 is turned on. When both the outputs of the timer 12 and the NAND circuit 11 are turned on, it is dangerous and hence comparison means 13 outputs a drive signal to alarming means 6 and a fire extinguishing signal to burner fire extinguishing means 7.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, with the above configuration, if a flammable object approaches the combustion part from between the guards, or if a person who has difficulty in moving quickly, such as a child or the elderly, approaches the stove. If this occurs, it is not possible to detect this and notify the danger and prevent fires and burns. Therefore, there was a problem in that it was dangerous to use the stove in a room only occupied by children and the elderly.

Normally, the light from the combustion section 9 focused by the light focusing means 1 passes through the light transmitting means 2 and is emitted from the light emitting means 3. The light receiving means 4, which is protected by a shielding plate 5 so as not to receive light from the combustion section, always receives light from the opposing light emitting means. (When a plurality of light receiving means (for example, 4) are installed, each is expressed as 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d using subscripts.) Examples of signals from the light receiving means are shown in FIGS. 4a to 4d.

If the light emitting means 3 to the light receiving means (4a to 4d) 7.
If an object or a human body approaches the stove so as to block the optical path of \-, the light emitted from the light emitting means 3 cannot be received by the light receiving means (4a to 4d). In which case
In the control means 8, the signal of the light receiving means becomes difficult to enter.N
The output of the AND circuit 11 is turned ON. (Figure 4 x) NA
When the output of the ND circuit 11 is ON for a certain period of time or longer (in this case, this indicates that the object or human body is approaching a stop for a certain period of time or more), the timer 12 is turned ON.

If the output of the timer 12 and the output of the NAND circuit 11 are both ON, it is dangerous, so the comparison means 13 outputs a drive signal to the alarm means 6 and outputs an extinguishing signal to the extinguishing means 7 of the burner. (ON signal in Fig. 4 y) The burner extinguishing means 7 extinguishes the fire in response to this extinguishing signal. Comparison means 13
The output becomes O by turning on the reset switch 14.
Return to FF. (Fig. 4 y, z) Therefore, in a radiation type stove, if an object or a human body approaches from the front guard towards the combustion part in such a way as to block the optical path from the light emitting means 3 to the light receiving means 4, an alarm will be issued. Safe heating can be achieved by issuing an alarm using means 6 and stopping combustion using the burner extinguishing means.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the stove safety device of the present invention, when combustible materials approach the combustion part (for example, when laundry is blown by the wind and approaches the stove, or when paper or other items are removed from a shelf) Since it detects this (such as when something falls down) and issues an alarm, it can be used with peace of mind even if there are people nearby. Furthermore, since the fire can be extinguished by the fire extinguishing means in the combustion part, there is no fear of fire.

However, since the combustion light from the combustion section is used as the detection light, power consumption is reduced and long-term use is possible. Furthermore, abnormal combustion and misfire can also be detected by changing the combustion light brightness. Therefore, it is possible to provide safe and comfortable heating even when the device is used by children or elderly people who have difficulty in moving quickly.
