してステアリング操作のアシスト力を発揮する電
動式パワーステアリングにおいて、 前記のパワーモータに対して正回転駆動電力及
び逆回転駆動電力を出力するモータ駆動回路と、 前記のステアリングシヤフトに加わるトルクが
所定値以上になつたときにその操舵方向に応じて
前記のモータ駆動回路にパワーモータの正回転あ
るいは逆回転を決定するための回転方向信号を出
力するトルク検出スイツチと、 ステアリング操作の中立位置を含む所定の操舵
角以内では前記ステアリング機構に対するパワー
モータの動力伝達を遮断した状態に維持し、この
操舵角を越えたときに動力伝達可能としたギヤ機
構と、 このギヤ機構が動力伝達可能な操舵角となつた
ときに前記のモータ駆動回路に対してパワーモー
タを駆動させるための電力の供給が可能で、かつ
この電力値を操舵角の増加に伴つて漸増させる制
