式圧解機におけるロール間隙の保持装置に関する

ンスが小さ過ぎると木材チツプの木質繊維が切れ
てしまい、逆にクリアランスが大き過ぎると木質
繊維が十分に解きほぐれないという問題があるた
めクリアランス調整には細心の注意が必要であつ
た。しかるに従来のロール式圧解機は互いに平行
に対向配置された一対のロールのうち、一方の固
定側のロールの両端の軸受に先端が当るようにね
じ軸を設け該ねじ軸をハンドルで回転させること
によりこの固定側のロールを他方の可動側のロー
ルに向けて進退自在なるようにしクリアランス調
整ができるようにしていた。しかしこれによれ
ば、木材チツプが両ロール間を通過するときねじ
軸に大きな力がかかつてねじ軸のガタつきが大き
くなり両ロール間のクリアランスに狂いが生じる
ことがあつた。従つてクリアランス調整を頻繁に
行う必要があつた。しかもこの構造では飛散した
木粉がねじ軸に付着することがさけられないため
ねじ軸の回転操作が重くなり調整作業を一層困難
にするものであつた。

ようにしたロール式圧解機において、一方のロー
ルの軸受に該ロールを他方のロールに向けて押圧
するシリンダを設けると共に、一方のロールの軸
受の他方のロールの軸受との対向面に薄板を所要
枚数重合させてなるクリアランス調節用具を設け
たことを特徴とするものである。
