Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] (1) An ink ribbon cassette characterized in that a display section for placing a mark is provided on a part of the front and back surfaces of a case containing an ink ribbon. (2) The ink ribbon cassette according to claim 1, wherein a label for stamping is affixed to the display portion formed on the front and back surfaces of the case. (3) The ink ribbon cassette according to claim 1, wherein the display portions formed on the front and back surfaces of the case are thin. (4) The ink ribbon cassette according to claim 1, wherein a colored film is applied to the display portions formed on the front and back surfaces of the case. (5) A printer characterized in that the carrier to which the ink ribbon cassette is mounted is provided with display means for marking the display section of the ink ribbon cassette. (6) The printer according to claim 5, wherein the display means is a stamping means for stamping on a stamping label provided on the display section. (7) The printer according to claim 5, wherein the display means is a protrusion punched out of the thin display section. (8) A printer characterized in that the display means is a peeling means for peeling off a colored film applied to the display section.
