Abstract

PURPOSE:To turn a fiber into ceramics by a method wherein ceramic powder is dissolved into a solution f thermosetting urea resin, viscous liquid stock are manufactured, soaked sufficiently into fiber cloth and heated at a high- temperature under high pressure after dryness. CONSTITUTION:Viscous liquid stocks 2 are soaked sufficiently into fiber cloth 1 of cotton or hemp by dipping the same into the viscous liquid stock 2. After an excessive matter of the same have been removed from the same with a roller 3, methanol alcohol mixed into the same as a diluting agent is evaporated by a fixed temperature drying furnace 4. With this construction, a quantity of evaporation of gas at the time of molding is reduced and a deformation and break can be prevented. Simultaneously with application of high pressure with a hot press 5 high-temperature heating is performed and ceramic fiber cloth 6 is obtained.

First, diammonium phosphate is added as a flame retardant to a thermosetting urea resin solution, methanol alcohol is added as a volatilization agent, ceramic powder is dissolved in the hot material, and a viscous liquid is added. Make raw materials. The viscous liquid raw material is thoroughly soaked into the fiber cloth to be made into ceramics, and the excess is removed with a roller.
The methanol alcohol solution mixed as a volatilization agent is heated and evaporated in a fixed-temperature dry blasting furnace, and after drying, it is heated at a high temperature under high pressure. Ceramic fiber cloth is produced in this way. On the other hand, ceramic powder, which is a raw material, is produced through the process of currently manufacturing various ceramic products, which results in defects such as deformation and cracking. The product is made into a powder using a machine, and the waste produced as defective products is reused. How to make this ceramic fiber cloth will be explained with reference to the drawings.

1 in Figure 1 is a fiber cloth required for impregnating the ceramic powder. This fiber cloth is preferably made of cotton or linen in order to be heated at a high temperature, and is made of reticulated material to give it flexibility. The conditions are as follows. However, various uses of ceramic fiber cloth can be considered, and fiber cloth etc. can be made by molding the reticulated ceramic fiber cloth on one or both sides.

The cotton or linen fiber cloth 1 is dipped into the mucilage liquid raw material 2 to allow it to be sufficiently soaked in the mucilage liquid raw material 2. That, 3
After removing excess material with a roller, methanol alcohol mixed as a volatilization agent is evaporated in a constant temperature drying oven in step 4. This reduces the amount of gas released during molding and prevents deformation, tearing, etc. during molding. After that, high pressure is applied using the hot press in step 5, and at the same time, the material is heated at high temperature to produce the ceramic fiber cloth in step 6.

In this way, various ceramic fiber cloths can be made depending on the purpose. In addition, various ceramic fiber cloths can be made by adjusting the temperature, pressure, and time of the hot press according to the thickness of the fiber cloth to be made into ceramics, the weaving method of the fiber cloth, etc. The features of this ceramic fiber cloth are that instead of the conventional image that ceramics are hard, it does not lose the flexibility of fiber cloth, is strong, and does not cause the ceramic powder to fall off after molding. It is easy to cut, has adhesive properties, and has a wide range of uses. Furthermore, ceramics have a heat retention effect due to the radiant heat of far-infrared rays, and are widely used in bedding and cold-weather clothing in cold regions, and the effect of far-infrared rays can also be expected to have medical effects.
