Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an equipment which is safe and easy to use by surely detecting an abnormality when water reaches a dangerous water level which is above a full water level and stopping the heating by a heating element and informing the user of the danger. CONSTITUTION: A cover of a pot is provided with a cover switch 12 to turn on and off when the cover opens and closes. And, a water level pipe is provided with an optical detector 21 to detect a dangerous water level above a high water level. The water level detector 21 works only just after AC power is applied or the cover is closed. When water reaches the dangerous water level, a controlling means 20 turns off a controlling element 29 which controls the energization of electricity to a heating elemnt 32 until water comes below the dangerous water level. When water is below the dangerous water level, on the other hand, the controlling means 20 turns on the controlling element 29. As a result, even if the heating element is not heated when water is poured into the pot, a priming detection is surely conducted and therefore there is no fear that water boils over and the user gets burnt and the equipment is safe and easy to use.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, with this kind of configuration, it is difficult to tell whether the container is full or not, since it is only indicated by a stamp, and furthermore, the water in the container cannot be heated even if the water is poured in at a level higher than that in a full-standing position. When boiling, there was a risk of water boiling over the outlet.

Means to Solve the Problem In order to prevent this problem from occurring, the present invention provides a lid switch that is turned on and off when the lid is opened and closed, and is also installed above the water level pipe's full water display position. Optical detection means are installed at the dangerous water level, and immediately after AC power is applied and
The water level detection means operates only immediately after the lid is closed, and if the water level reaches the critical level, it turns off the control element until the water level drops below the critical level.
It is provided with a control means that turns on the notification means and turns on the control element when the water level is lower than the dangerous water level.

Function: This configuration prevents overfilling of water when water is poured at the start of heating or during heating, and prevents heating of the heating element from being stopped and notification when a dangerous water level is reached due to thermal expansion of water during heating of the heating element. This prevents problems such as burns and staining the table due to hot water spilling out of the outlet when boiling with too much water.

FIG. 6d is a flowchart of ft0M of the microcomputer 26. According to this, the operation of the above steam water heater will be explained. First, the water level detection means operates immediately after the alternating current mixed source seal is activated, and determines whether the float 10 is at or below the dangerous water level β as shown in FIG. 4 (step 1). Float 10
When the signal reaches the critical level IK, the light from the phototransistor 23 and light emitting diode 22 is cut off, and an H signal is sent to the microcomputer 26. When the microcomputer 26 receives an H signal, it outputs an L signal to the transistor 27 (step 2), so no current flows through the relay coil 30 and the heating element is not heated. Further, the piezoelectric buzzer 33 of the notification means 22 can be sent a repeated ON/OFF signal, and the light emitting diode 34 can be sent an L signal until the float 1o becomes below the dangerous water level. If the float 1o is less than the dangerous water level 1 in step 1, the phototransistor 23 receives the light from the light emitting diode 22 and turns the

When the L signal is sent to the microcomputer 26, the H signal is output to the transistor 2T (step 4), current flows through the relay coil 30, and the heating element is heated.

Furthermore, the program sets the notification means to 0) 1'F (step 6), performs steps 6 and 7, and determines the operation of the lid switch 12. That is, in step 6, it is detected that the lid is opened and the lid switch 12 is turned off, and in step 7, it is detected that the lid is closed and the lid switch 12 is turned on. From this Toni,
The microcomputer 26 determines that the lid is closed and performs the water level detection operation in step 2.

As is clear from the explanation of the actual gun reli above the effects of the invention, according to the present invention, if the water level reaches a dangerous level, it is possible to issue a notification and prohibit the energization of the heating element. In addition, this method works only when AC power is applied to the heating element, and when the lid is closed, the heating starts when the heating element reaches a predetermined level due to thermal expansion of the water. There is no malfunction that causes the device to stop, and the full water detection function works even when water is poured in the middle of heating the heating element. As a result, when water is poured, whether the heating element is heated or not, full water detection is reliably performed, and there is no need to worry about burns caused by boiling hot water. A JI3 staking device can be provided with a simple configuration.
