Abstract

PURPOSE:To obviate the need of securing operations such as adhesive bonding and preventing water leakages by vertically interposing an elastic annular retaining body holding a piezo-vibrator between annular slant plates and fastening it between a supporting body and a bottom wall together with screws. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral edge position of a piezo-vibrator 3 for generating supersonic waves is inserted in an annular groove 6 provided in the inner peripheral surface of an elastic annular retaining body 1. The upper and lower slant surfaces of the elastic annular retaining body 1 are held between a pair of upper and lower annular slant plates 4a and 4b. The upper one 4b of these annular slant plates is engaged with a depressed portion 22 provided in a bottom wall 12 and the lower one 4a is engaged with a stepped groove 7 of a supporting body 5 which is fastened to the bottom wall 12 by screws 14, thereby securing together the piezo-vibrator 3, the elastic annular retaining body 1 and the annular slant plates 4a and 4b. This method obviates the need of the securing operation such as adhesive bonding, and preventing water leakages.
