Abstract

PURPOSE:To array key tops of the keyboard freely by forming the key tops which are attachable to and detachable from switches. CONSTITUTION:The keyboard of the information processor consists of a case 1, a substrate 2, key tops 3, and a cover 4. This case 1 has a lattice-shaped frame with plural holes 1a on the top surface and the holes 1a are for inserting the key tops 3 and cover 4 and formed rectangularly. Then the substrate 2 is fitted on the reverse surface of the case 1 and the switches 5 which are as many as key arrays are provided previously. Further, the key tops 3 are used while fitted in the holes 1a of the case 1 and function to operate the switches 5 of the substrate 2 by depression, and they are formed so that they are inserted into and extracted from the holes 1a freely. 統一されたキーの配列が決っていないため、ユーザ毎の
ニーズに合わせて専用のキーボードを作成していた。従
ってキーボードのキー配列は各ユーザーの専用キーボー
ド毎決った配列となっていた。 [発明が解決しようとする問題点] 上述した従来の情報処理装置のキーボードは、キーの配
列が固定化されているため、ユーザのニーズに合った各
々のキーボードを作成するとなると、多種類のキーボー
ドが必要となり、この結果コストアップとなる欠点があ
る。またユーザのニーズを確認した後に製造を開始しな
ければならないため、出荷に相当の日数を要するという

ので、そのための解決手段として、複数のスイッチを実
装した基板と、該基板を収納するケースと、スイッチを
作動させる複数のキートップとを備え、上記基板は予め

ップを、上記各スイッチに対応して形成したケースのキ
ートップ取付用の孔を介して着脱可を屯に設けることを
特徴とする情報処理装置のキーボードを提供するもので

を有した格子状の枠を上面に備えている。孔1aはキー
トップ3とカバー4を挿入するもので、矩形状をしてい
る。 基板2は、第1図に示す如くケースlの下面に取付けで
ある。この基板2上には、第4図に示す如く予め複数の
キー配列に対応した数のスイッチ5を有している。これ
ら複数のスイッチ5は各々ケースlの孔1aの真下に位
置するように配設されている。 キートップ3は、ケース1の孔1aに嵌込まれて使用さ
れるもので、抑圧により基板2のスイッチ5を作動させ
る機能を有する。またキートップ3はケースlの孔1a
に自由に嵌込むことができかつ孔1aから自由に取外す
ことができるように形成しである。キートップ3として
は、第5図乃至第7図に示す如く大きさの異なる3種類
のキートップ3a、3b、3cが考えられる。尚、キー
トップ3の種類は3種類に限られるものでなく、使用方
法に応じて大きさの異なるキートップを何種類でも形成
しうろことは明らかである。 カバー4は、第3図に示す如く上面幅広の形状をなし、
第4図に示す如くケースlの孔1aに嵌合して孔1aを
被覆する。このカバー4はキートップ3が嵌込まれてい
ない孔1aに嵌込むものである。 本実施例に係る情報処理装置のキーボードが上述した構
成をとることにより、第8図のケース1の孔1aに適宜
キートップ3a、3b、3c及びカバー4を嵌込んで第
9図に示す如<pos端末装置で使用するような配列の
キーボードを作ることができる。このように本実施例の
キーボードは多くのユーザのニーズに応えることができ
る効果がある。 [発明の効果] 以上説明したように本発明の情報処理型はのキーボード
は、キートップを、スイッチに着脱可能に形成し、予め
必要と考えられるキーの配列のすべての接点を基板上に
設けることとしたため、キートップと接点のカバーを自
由に取外すことによりキートップの配列を自由にするこ
