１は真空外囲器、２は前面パネル、３は背面板
、４は筒状側板、５は蛍光表示部、５Ｒ，５Ｇ，
５Ｂは蛍光面、６は陽極電極、７はカソード、８
はグリツド電極、１２はリード線、１３はソケツ
ト、１４は絶縁樹脂膜。なお、図中、同一符号は
同一又は相当部分を示す。

ネルの内面にマトリクス状に形成された蛍光面に
高電圧を印加し、かつ、その蛍光面を取り囲むよ
うに前記前面パネルに対して垂直に固定された陽
極電極と、前記蛍光面に対応して前記基板側に配
設された電子放出用カソードおよび電子の流れを
制御する制御グリツドを設け、前記背面板と側板
との接合部から外部に取出したリード線を該背面
板裏面に取付けたソケツトの外側面を沿つて該ソ
ケツト内部の電路に接続した光源用表示管におい
て、前記リード線を覆うように該ソケツト外側面
に絶縁樹脂膜を形成したことを特徴とする光源用
