- 光透過性の表示極と、この表示極に対し一定の
距離を隔てて配置された対向極と、上記表示極及
び対向極にそれぞれ配設された酸化還元体とを有
してなる相補型構造のエレクトロクロミツク表示
器において、表示極側の酸化還元体の着脱色変化
或いは変色に要する電気化学反応容量よりも、対
向極側の酸化還元体の電気化学反応容量を化学量
論的に大としたことを特徴とするエレクトロクロ
ミツク表示器。
