Conventional technology Up until now, heat-shrinkable films formed into a cylindrical shape have been shrink-wrapped for glass bottles to prevent fragments from scattering when the bottles are broken, and predetermined characters, designs, etc. have been printed on the surface of the films. It is known that it can be printed and used as a label.

In particular, polyvinyl chloride stretched film has shrinkage characteristics,
Due to its excellent ductility, gloss, suitability for packaging machines, suitability for printing, etc., it has an established position as a material for use in shrinkable labels.

However, conventional heat-shrinkable films used to cover bottles are made from materials that are pre-formed into a cylindrical shape using an annular nozzle during manufacturing. It had to be printed on the surface of the bottle and then coated. However, if the printed surface is exposed to the surface, the printing becomes unclear due to contact with other objects, and printing directly on the surface of the bottle requires complicated operations, which reduces work efficiency. I can't escape it.

Furthermore, when these cylindrical heat-shrinkable films are applied to glass bottles, etc., support to the glass surface relies solely on the shrinkage force of the film, which has the disadvantage of causing misalignment. Moreover, since this film had almost no cushioning properties, it was hardly effective in preventing bottles from breaking.

Means for Solving the Problems The present inventors have conducted various studies to develop shrinkable labels for glass containers that do not fall off or shift in position and have good cushioning properties.
The inventors discovered that the objective could be achieved by combining a heat-shrinkable film and a specific foamable ink layer, and based on this knowledge, the present invention was accomplished.

There are no particular restrictions on the foamable ink as long as it is of the low-temperature heat-foaming type. For example, the foamable ink may be a microorganism made of thermoplastic resin particles impregnated with a low-boiling point liquid expanding agent, the surface of which is coated with a resin with low gas permeability. Containing capsules (U.S. Pat. No. 3,615,972,

The low-temperature heat-foaming type foamable ink layer does not need to be provided over the entire surface of the heat-shrinkable film, and may be partially missing in some cases. This has the advantage that when a transparent container is coated, the state inside the container can be observed from that location.

The shrink label for glass containers of the present invention can be applied to a predetermined container with a foam coating in the same manner as conventional shrink labels, either by hand or by an automatic shrink label machine. That is, by sealing a slit into a cylindrical shape to match the size of the container, attaching it to the container, and then heating it in the shrink process, the outer heat-shrinkable film adheres to the container, and then the inner The foamable ink layer foams to form a tightly packed layer between the film and the peripheral wall of the container. The heating conditions for this shrinking process vary depending on the size of the container, contents, film thickness, etc., but the temperature is 100-200℃ and the time is 3-200℃.
The range is 120 seconds.

Next, the coating material was sealed into a cylindrical shape and placed over a glass bottle with an outer diameter of 8 cm, and this was passed through a shrink tunnel (135°C, 60 seconds) equipped with a hot air heat source to create a tight seal between the film and the container wall. A foamed filling layer was formed.
