装置を内蔵した回転椅子が提供されているが、何れも構
造が複雑で組立て工程が多くなって製造コストの上昇に
つながるものであり、また複雑な機構を有するので経年
変化により故障が発生したり、また摺動部の摩耗等によ
り座部がスムースに回動しなくなるばかりでなく、完全
に始状態に復元しなくなる恐れがあった。
