ホイルキヤリアの一端が回転軸を中心に回動自在
に枢支され、このスペアホイルキヤリアにスペア
タイヤを支持するスペアホイルキヤリア装置にお
いて、前記スペアホイルキヤリアの回動端と車両
前後方向に摺動自在に設けてある車両側のハンド
ルとの間にスプリングを張架するとともに、操作
子により作動する突子部をスペアホイルキヤリア
の回動端に設けて、この突子部を車両側に設けた
位置決め用部材に、前記操作子の作動により掛止
させるよう構成されて成り、前記突子部と位置決
め用部材の掛合を外して、前記スプリングの張力
とスペアタイヤ自重がつり合う位置にスペアホイ
ルキヤリアを回転軸を中心に回動したのち、その
つり合い位置からさらにスペアホイルキヤリアを
車両後方にスプリングの張力に抗しさらに回動さ
せて車両後ろ上方にはね上げることを特徴とする
