Abstract

PURPOSE:To make cutting operation efficiency improvable as well as to facilitate the handling by forming a cutting part into a conical form, and arranging a cutting member high in hardness on a conical curved surface of the cutting part. CONSTITUTION:When a cutter 1 is rotated at high speed by a hydraulic motor 5, a straight tool 3 cuts a lining material 6, and the lining material 6 comes to powder and scattered around. An operator cuts an opening of a branch pipe 7 accurately with a TV camera 8. After this cutting is all over, if there is a blocked branch pipe to be cut for another opening, a cutter device 4 is moved as photographing it with the TV camera 8 and similar cutting operation takes place. If using the cutter 1 like this, the cutting operation can be advanced forward in succession so that operation efficiency is remarkably improvable. In addition, since the cutter 1 is formable in a small diameter as compared with the conventional cylindrical cutter, it is easily handleable.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a cutter used for cutting a lining material applied to the inner peripheral surface of a pipe at a branch pipe opening in a pipe repair method.

(Conventional technology) When sewer pipes, electric/gas pipes, and other industrial pipes buried underground become obsolete, it is possible to line the inner surfaces of these pipes without digging them out. Pipeline repair methods for repairing, reinforcing, etc. the aged pipes have already been proposed and put into practical use (see, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 60-242048). In other words, this pipe repair method involves inserting a liner bag, which is made by impregnating a tubular liner made of a flexible resin absorbing material with a hardening resin, into an old pipe while inverting it using fluid pressure. This is a construction method in which the curable resin is pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the pipe, and then heated while maintaining this state to harden the curable resin impregnated with it, thereby lining the inner circumference of the aged pipe.

When the above construction method is applied to a branch pipe that branches from a wood pipe, the lining material that covers the inner circumferential surface of the branch pipe protrudes into the wood pipe. It is necessary to use a cutting device to cut the pipe, and the cutter device is installed inside the main pipe and driven by remote control from the ground. This cutter device is equipped with a cutter that is rotationally driven by a hydraulic motor or the like, and the present applicant has already proposed a cylindrical cutter as an example of this cutter (Patent Application No. 62-203464). That is, this cutter has a plurality of blades arranged on the upper edge of a cylindrical body.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, when cutting the lining material with the above-mentioned cylindrical cutter, the lining material is cut into a circular shape, and the cut disk falls into the cylindrical cutter that is rotating at high speed. There was turbulence within the cylindrical cutter, and the cutter device could not be continued to be used without removing the disc. Therefore, it is necessary to take out the cutter device from the conduit each time and remove the cut disk from the cylindrical cutter, resulting in a problem of poor work efficiency.

In addition, when using a cylindrical cutter, the cutter is selected according to the opening diameter of the branch pipe, so if the opening diameter of the branch pipe opening into the pipe is not constant, the cutter device must be installed for each branch pipe. There was a problem in that the cutter had to be removed from the road and replaced, making it impossible to improve work efficiency.

Furthermore, in the case of a cylindrical cutter, there is a problem in that the two end edges of the cutter tend to come into contact with the pipe wall in a narrow pipe, which limits the vertical stroke of the cutter.

(Function) Since the cutting part of the cutter has a conical shape, the lining material to be cut is cut by the cutting member disposed on the conical surface of the cutter and is scattered as powder. Does not interfere with the function of the cutter. Therefore, the cutter can be used for the next cutting operation as it is, and as a result, cutting operations can be carried out continuously and efficiently.

Furthermore, the cutter can make a small hole in the lining material at its tip and gradually enlarge it using the conical cutting part, so by appropriately controlling the position, it is possible to create an opening of any size. There is no need to replace the cutter for each branch pipe. Furthermore, since the above-mentioned cutting method can be adopted, the diameter of the cutter can be reduced, making it easier to handle than a conventional cylindrical cutter, and contributing to improving cutting work efficiency.

The cutter 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a cylindrical base 1a and a conical cutting part ib, and a shaft hole 1c is formed in the base 1a. Further, on the conical curved surface of the cutting portion 1b, six straight blades 3 are radially connected along the generatrix so that the conical curved surface is equiangularly distributed.

The cutter 1 configured as described above is attached to the output shaft end of a hydraulic motor 5 provided in a cutter device 4, as shown in FIG. However, as the cutter 1 is rotated at high speed by the hydraulic motor 5, the linear blades 3... shave the lining material 6, and the scraped lining material becomes powder and scatters. The operator operates the cutter device 4 to accurately cut the opening of the branch pipe 7 while observing the cutting situation with the television camera 8. Once this is completed, if there is another blocked branch pipe whose opening should be cut, the cutter device 4 is moved to the position of the branch pipe while taking pictures with the television camera 8, and the same cutting operation as above is performed. In this way, if the present cutter 1 is used, the cutting work can be carried out continuously, so that the work efficiency is significantly improved. Further, since the cutter l can be configured to have a smaller diameter than a conventional cylindrical cutter, its handling becomes easier.

(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, since the cutter is configured by disposing a highly hard cutting member on the conical curved surface of the conical cutting part, the lining material to be cut is powdered. The diameter of the branch pipe can be cut without causing the lining material to scatter and impede the function of the cutter, and by appropriately operating the cutter device, an opening of any diameter can be cut. There is no need to replace the cutter each time depending on the situation, and the effect is that cutting work can be performed continuously and efficiently at multiple locations.
