[Technical background of the invention and its problems] Horizontal axis revolving windows are made by attaching the vertical stile of the shoji to the shaft provided horizontally in the center of the left and right vertical frames, and moving the upper part of the shoji towards the indoor side and the lower part. The shoji is opened and closed by rotating the shoji toward the outside (or vice versa). In such a horizontal axis revolving window, since the top and bottom of the shoji open into and out of the window frame, the airtight structure between the stile and the window frame is different at the top and bottom of the window, so it is difficult to obtain a high level of airtight performance as it is. However, in recent years, as building exteriors have become more sophisticated, there has been a demand for high-performance horizontal-axis revolving windows that are large in size and excellent in design.
Therefore, in order to close the gap between the window frame and the stile and ensure excellent airtightness, a revolving window has been proposed in which an auxiliary material is provided on the indoor side. An example of such a horizontal axis rotating window will be described below with reference to the drawings.

As shown in Fig. 1A, when this revolving window is viewed from the outside of the room, there are an upper stile 4, a lower stile 5, and a left and right vertical frame 4 on the inside of the window frame, which consists of an upper frame 1, a lower frame 2, and left and right vertical frames 3. Stiles 6
A shoji made of glass 7 is fitted into this. On the other hand, on the indoor side of this revolving window, as shown in FIG. The shoji is rotatably supported relative to the window frame. And, with this axis as the border,
An auxiliary material 9 which also serves as a decorative board is provided on the upper part on the stile side and the lower part on the frame side. When the window is closed, the upper and lower auxiliary members 9 overlap the frame and the stile on both sides of the indoor surface, thereby closing the gap between the frame and the stile.

In conventional revolving windows as described above, it is important to ensure airtightness between the auxiliary material and the frame and stile. Since it is necessary to seal the parts, the installation position of the airtight material and the shape of the auxiliary material are different for the upper and lower parts. As a result, divisions are formed in the airtight material, making it impossible to provide a continuous airtight material around the four circumferences of the frame or stile, making it difficult to obtain a high degree of airtightness. Furthermore, since the auxiliary material 9 itself is divided into upper and lower parts of the window, it is difficult to maintain the airtightness and watertightness of this divided part. This turned out to be a major drawback.

[Summary of the invention] The horizontal shaft revolving window of the invention is constructed by using upper and lower auxiliary members provided on the interior surface of the interior, on the stile side at the top and the frame side at the bottom, respectively, with cylindrical shapes placed at the same position on the exterior side of the shaft. Protrusions of the same shape are provided so that when the window is closed, these protrusions butt against each other and form a straight line.
By bringing the airtight material continuously provided around each of the four circumferences of the stile and frame into contact with this linear continuous protrusion, airtightness between the auxiliary material and the stile and frame is ensured, and furthermore, the upper and lower By closing the openings provided at the butting ends of the protruding parts with an airtight connector and butting the protrusions together through this airtight connector, the airtightness and watertightness of the divided parts of the auxiliary material can be improved. It is elevated.

In FIG. 3A, under the shaft part 8, the auxiliary material 9
is attached to the vertical frame 3 side with screws 9b, and the overhanging part 9c provided on the indoor side of this auxiliary member 9 is attached to the auxiliary member 9.
and the vertical stile 6. The protrusion 9a provided on the outdoor side of the auxiliary member 9 is located at the midpoint between the vertical frame 3 and the vertical stile 6, and has a symmetrical substantially trapezoidal shape. Vertical frames 3 are provided on both left and right sides of the outer end of the protrusion 9a.
And elastic airtight materials 11a and 11b, such as resin, attached to the vertical stile 6 are in close contact with each other. Further, the outdoor surfaces of the vertical frame 3 and the vertical stile 6 extend toward the other side so as to cover the auxiliary material 9 from the outdoor side, and the end portions 3
a and 6a are facing each other. An elastic airtight material 11c such as resin is attached to the outdoor end 6a of the vertical frame 6, and the outdoor end 6a of the vertical frame 3
It is in close contact with a. Each of the above airtight materials 11a to 11c
is fitted into a groove 10 provided in the frame or stile, and is continuously provided around the frame or stile without being divided above and below the shaft portion 8.

4A and 4B are diagrams showing airtight structures between the upper frame 1 and the upper stile 4, and between the lower frame 2 and the lower stile 5, respectively.
4B is a vertical sectional view showing an embodiment in which the glass 7 has a single structure, and FIG. 4B shows an embodiment in which the glass 7 has a double structure. In addition,
The left side of the drawing is the top, and the bottom of the drawing is the outdoor side. As shown in FIG. 4A, the auxiliary material 9 is attached to the upper stile 4 at the top of the window frame, and as shown in FIG. 4B, the auxiliary material 9 is attached to the bottom frame 2 at the bottom of the window frame. The configurations of the protrusion 9a of the auxiliary material and the airtight materials 11a to 11c attached between the stile and the frame are the same as those of the vertical frame 3 and vertical stile 6 described above. In addition, as shown in FIG. 4B, the lower frame 2 and the lower stile 5 are provided with a locking device 12.

On the other hand, in the divided portion of the auxiliary member 9, as shown in FIG. 5, an elastic airtight connector 13 made of, for example, neoprene rubber foam is inserted into the opening formed at the mating end of the protruding portion 9a. They are fitted together. Further, the auxiliary member 9 has the indoor side portion of the shaft portion 8, which is the attachment portion of the bracket, cut away, and only the protruding portion 9a on the outdoor side is vertically continuous. Note that the opening created by this cut is the screw 14.
It is closed with a decorative lid 14 attached to the auxiliary member 9 by a. Further, the left and right brackets 8a and 8b of the shaft portion 8 are fixed to the vertical frame 3 or the vertical stile 6 with screws 8d, as described above.

The operation of the horizontal axis rotating window of the present invention having the above-mentioned configuration is as follows. That is, in the divided portion of the auxiliary member 9, the upper and lower auxiliary members 9 are provided with protrusions 9a of the same shape and at the same position, and the airtight connectors 13 are respectively disposed in the openings of the protrusions 9a.
3 joins the auxiliary materials 9 to each other, so that the continuity of the auxiliary materials 9 is maintained and airtightness and watertightness are improved. Furthermore, since the protruding parts 9a of the continuous auxiliary material 9 have the same shape on the upper and lower sides of the shaft part 8, if the same airtight material 11 is provided above and below the shaft part 8 on the stile and frame side, the auxiliary material Airtightness between 9 and the frame or stile can be ensured, and the airtight material 11 is not divided by the shaft portion 8. Furthermore, since the airtight material 11 is provided between the frame and the stile and the auxiliary material 9 and between the abutting parts of the frame and the stile, a double airtight structure is created over the entire surface between the shoji and the frame. It is formed.
