Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively and easily synthesize a high frequency power by focusing and synthesizing the output of plural high frequency power amplifiers at one place by using a wave converging means. CONSTITUTION:A spatial radiation antenna 2 is provided on the output stages of plural high frequency amplifiers 1, and each of them is arranged on one side, and also, the wave converging means 3 is provided on the other side. As the wave converging means 3, a recessed shape reflecting plate is used, and a synthetic power output circuit 5 is arranged at the focusing part of the plate. Therefore, a high frequency power outputted from each radiation antenna 2 is focused on the output circuit 5 arranged at the focusing part of the reflecting plate after being reflected on the recessed shape reflecting plate, which makes a synthesized state. In such a way, the high frequency power outputted from each radiation antenna 2 is reflected on the recessed shape reflecting plate, and is concentrated on the output circuit 5 to synthesize the power, then, it is taken out as a synthetic power.

成使用する各種機器に好適な電力合成方式に関する。

ト方式の合成器49 Aが多用され、他に第4図に示す
ようなすべての電力増幅器50を円の中心の1点で合成
するラディアル方式の合成器50Aも用いられている。

4図に示す従来例にあっては、位相調整に手間が掛ると
いう不都合があった。

本発明では、複数の高周波電力増幅器の出力段に空間放
射アンテナを装備し、これら各高周波電力増幅器を一方
の側に配設するとともに、他方の側に電波収束手段を装
備し、この電波収束手段を用いて複数の高周波電力増幅
器の出力を一ケ所に集束せしめ合成するという構成を採
り、これによって前述した目的を達成しようとするもの
である。
